Triple timer replacement for West Bend *Update Dec.2014*
I saw a mention of this particular timer while looking for a replacement for my West Bend model. This functions in exactly the same way. Its appearance is a little different in color from the photo as shown (blue buttons, grey shell). My only caveat to everyone is that the "beep" tone is extremely quiet and not like the old West Bend triple kitchen timer at all. I need to not only be in the same room to hear this, but within about 3 feet or so and I am not hard of hearing. I used to be able to multi-task and leave the kitchen to do other things. Perhaps this site's timer is louder? http://www.coleparmer.com/Product/Cole_Parmer_Single_Display_Triple_Event_Lab_Digital_Timer/UX-94460-60 I may eventually give it a try as well.*Update 12-30-2014* NO need to try another brand. Daigger contacted me and offered a no charge replacement. I have upgraded the rating from 3 to 5 stars as this timer is now perfect and loud enough. It IS an "exact" replacement for my old West Bend triple (kitchen) timer. Many thanks to Daigger's outstanding customer service.

Everything old is new again
It's nice to be able to get a new one of these -- my old one, made by West Bend, survived close to thirty years of daily use, acting as my alarm clock when I took it on trips and helping out at home. The new one is made of a denser, somewhat heavier (more brittle too, it feels like) plastic (with more precisely-finished edges and corners) that ought to last a good, long time. Buttons are a little harder to push but tolerable. It seems like setting two timers as I often do at bed-time takes a few seconds longer than with the old West Bend triple-timer, but tolerable. It wakes me up brilliantly. What more could I want? West Bend Triple timer great replacement
This is almost identical to the West Bend Triple Timer with one slight difference. The angle of viewability is less with this timer. You have to be looking down at the timer, as you cannot read the digits at a low angle. I will attempt to get a pic of the readability issue. Other than that it is a great timer with identical functions as the West Bend Triple timer that is no longer made by West Bend.

Finally a timer as good as my old Westbend triple timer
I looked for years for a replacement for my old Westbend triple timer. I bought it in 1980 and the buttons finally wore out a few years ago. I tried several based on various reviews. All were lacking in at least one feature in either form or function. I had the opportunity to buy another, and fortunately decided to do a search instead of assuming that nothing better had been developed recently. Then I saw the Daigger 8090. It is almost identical to my old Westband in form and function. I have used it several times over the three days that I have owned it and love it.

Great idea, great design
Some 20 years ago I bought a West Bend triple timer and have found it very useful and dependable. The Daigger timer has exactly the same layout and differs only in some details of the case design; I suspect that Daigger picked it up from West Bend. And that is good. The alarm is loud enough, and I have found the triple alarm handy when I have to time a few different items or one item at three stages.

Good timer, but hard to hear beeper
This is a replacement for an almost identical Daigger timer that I have loved for years. The display still worked on my old one, but it no longer made any sound. I love the simple, but efficient design of this timer, so I ordered another one. I was disappointed to find that the audio signal on the new model is very hard to hear. I have to keep the timer right next to me or I could miss the signal.

Perfect because it times more than one thing and it is straight forward.
The Daigger lab timer I purchased looks different than the one I see while doing this review . Ours has Ridges on the side a different color display. This is the fourth triple timer we have purchased. Eventually wear out. But we use them allot . many times a day.

Beeper too faint
I bought one a replacement for an identical function VWR lab timer, however the beeper on this product is so faint as to be barely audible more than perhaps six feet away. Maybe I just got a bad one? Too bad, because the functionality is perfect.
