What an AMAZING value!
We recently remodeled our bathroom and I wanted all hardware accessories to match. I had purchased the vanity light, sink faucet, toilet paper holder, towel ring, cabinet handles and cabinet knobs all in the Moen Waterhill collection. The Waterhill Tub and shower trim kit was a little too expensive to justify and when I saw the Moen Brantford Tub and Shower trim kit, it looked like it would be a good match. Moen does make some lower end models, and I was nervous that this was going to be a light-weight cheap feeling trim kit. It is quite the opposite- it is very heavy and compares nicely to Moen's higher end product lines. To my delight, when my husband installed it I can honestly say it is an EXCELLENT match to the Waterhill collection. And at the Amazon price it was a fraction of what we would have paid for any Moen product at any other store in any pattern, let alone the Waterhill collection which runs upwards of 400 bucks. Moen guarantees the finish for life and I can tell you that the pieces are solid and a high quality in this Brantford collection. My husband installed each piece with ease. If you are confused on the valve, which is not included, go to the manufacturers website and they have a section where they detail the differences in valves. We had an existing Moen posi-temp valve, so this new trim kit installed with ease and without having to purchase a new valve. We have an older tub/shower that was built in the 50's- so there is a ceiling in the tub/shower that is low, which resulted in the shower head being quite low. I purchased a Shower Arm S Style in Chrome by Interbath from Amazon and it worked very well with the Moen Brantford shower head in this trim kit. And it added about 8" of desperately needed height to the shower spray. I will also note, since this was a big factor for us, that the shower head in this Brantford Tub and Shower kit DOES swivel. A lot of the shower heads out there do not swivel thus prohibiting you from being able to control the height and direction of your shower spray. Overall, we are very pleased with the Brantford Posi-Temp Tub and Shower trim kit. The chrome is very high polish, easy to clean, does not spot from water, and best of all looks high end and amazing.

a good part of that product was plastic
I upgraded my bathroom and when I did I went from Brass to Nickel for everything. I had Moen brass tub fixtures so, rather than have to have a hole cut in my wall to replace the valve I opted to go for a face lift. I found a Moen product in Home Depot and purchased that first. First of all, a good part of that product was plastic. Secondly, it was a screw on faucet, while the one I was replacing was a slide on. I should mention that I did call Moen before I tried to install this and they told me as long as it was a Pot-Temp valve it would work with it. Well... kind of wrong, since the faucet out of the box would not work in my bath tub, without modifications. So I got on Amazon and found this product. It indicated the faucet was a slide on and it worked with a Posi-Temp valve. I received the package quickly. The first thing I noticed was that it was metal, not plastic. I installed it in about 15 minutes. I've been very happy with it. It was a better product for less money than I would have spent at Home Depot and required no modifications, as I would have had to do with the Home Depot product. I would recommend to anyone.

Good product when Hardware kit is complete.
Like most of the major brands some parts are not what they used to be. This is a very nice set but it was missing some components. However since I was replacing an older Moen I was able to reuse the set screw which wasn't a big deal but very annoying.

Awesome Shower Fixture!
This faucet is awesome and was a very nice upgrade to two of our bathrooms. I bought one and was so satisfied with the quality that I bought a second to replace in our other bathroom. Moen products are great and they do a good job of not over-complicating the instructions or the workings of their plumbing products. I’m an avid DIYer and It was easy to changeout the 1990’s Moen fixtures in the shower (still in good shape, just outdated). I even had to replace the posi-temp cartridge in one shower (due to age/restricted water flow), but was easy after watching a video online. The handle, escutcheon, shower arm, and spout are all (heavy) solid metal. The finish is a nice bronzey brown without the orange streaks found on other hardware. Very satisfied with the quality, look, value, and outcome of this product! Pricing was better than the big box stores and delivery was fast thanks to Prime! We will be buying another set soon for our upcoming master bathroom renovation.

Looks Nice, Defective Inside Part
So this is really nice looking. I just tiled my shower with Talavera tile and have replaced all the fixtures. I have to give this only 3 stars because after it was installed it would not turn completely off. The faucet dripped. I did not have time to send this back to Amazon and get a replacement so we had to try and fix it. First, the contractor thought it might be a cartridge, so he went and got a Moen replacement one ($12 plus tax) and that did not do the trick. So then he went and got the brass plunger part ($40 plus tax) and that did the trick. Between the hourly cost and my parts cost I spent $105 to get this working properly which was slightly more than I paid for this set. Additionally, it cost me a couple of hours of my personal time. I got on chat w/ Amazon to ask for a refund, they were only able to give me $40 which does not even recoup the cost of the parts I purchased. So, if you are on any sort of timeline, then I would not recommend purchasing this through Amazon. Instead, find it at a local store where you can make exchanges in the same day.
