Beautiful study Bible, heavy as expected, lots of helpful notes and I love the index in the back. I love that it came in a nice box, it was packaged very well. Has a ribbon to mark your page. Some reviews mentioned the pages sticking together (from the gold on the edges) - I did not have that problem. Its a bible, as long as you're gentle with it the pages separate easily.

Micro Bible journaling in a study bible? Yes please! I am LOVING everything about this gem of a Bible. This size is perfect. It weighs about the same, if not lighter, than my She Reads Truth CSB Bible. Note that this is the standard size of this Bible and the margin space is a little bigger compared to the personal (smaller font) or the large print (larger font) versions of the LASB. While this isn’t designed to be a “journaling” Bible, I find there’s plenty of margin space for thoughts, notes, and prayers. There is barely any bleed through from pens and highlighters that designed for Bible paper. I love Mr. Pen brand the most. Lastly, I adore the NLT version and the application notes are so enriching to my personal study. I’ve also added my own flair - bible tabs and self adhesive wallpaper to the inside cover. The outer purple is gorgeous. I did have to carefully separate some pages due to the gold trim, but it was easy and using your fingers to slowly flip through the pages helps separate them over time, as other reviews have mentioned. Just go slowly and you’ll be fine. None of my pages have ripped while peeling them apart. You will not regret this Bible, and the purple cover is absolutely beautiful as well!

I have personally used this version Bible for decades and have given as gifts too! Everyone who has received this, is always very excited to dig in! I have it personalized for them as well…. The leather cover is of very nice quality and I expect my gifts to last them for generations! I love this version because it has so much more for understanding the CONTEXT of the scriptures, gives info on each author of each book, the main verses, the culture and points of interest of the current times of which it was written… one of the best features are all the footnotes on almost every scripture verse that helps unpack and apply to our daily lives now .

I bought a Life Application large print study Bible a week or two ago and fell in love with it. I just bought a 2nd in a regular 8.5 font. The large print was too large to hold without pain. I guess I am a baby. I also bought more magnification in my reading glasses. To the manufacturers of this Bible. It needs to be a 9 or 9.5 font for the regular and the 10.75 for large print. 8.5 is too small a print for most unless you are in your 20's. Having said that this is the best Bible I have ever owned. I love the translation options. I love the character breakdowns, the full page break down of each book with timeline, the life application, the reference scriptures, the concordance.... This is a phenominal Bible. Having said all of that the large print font is for home use not for carrying. Even then holding it to read was a lot for me. If your eye sight is fairly good buy the 8.5 font and just get reading glasses with more magnification. Or do like me I have the large print and the 8.5 font also new reading glasses with 3.0 magnification to read the 8.5 font.

Great Bible and very nice quality for the money. Only issue is that a lot of the pages were stuck together and needed to be carefully separated by hand.

I absolutely love this Bible. It speaks my language and helps me to converse with God the issues of my heart. This is great for a new believer in Christ.

What a fantastic purchase. Beautifully boxed this bible is sturdy, easy to use with space for notes and is lovely to handle- tactile. Very pleased with the purchase. Pricey but will last me a long time.
