Xprite White 8 PCS Truck Pickup Bed Light Kit, 24 Led Cargo Rock Lighting

i used these for the inside of my truck even though it says they are for the bed they work for the interior as well and they look great worth the money 100% almost a year later and they still work fine. very bright cable is super long so i had to zip tie it together but its good if you need a long cable i didn't need so much but i made it work. i wish i could change the color but blue works for me.

So I bought this product to use as a underbody light kit. I found the fact that it is a pre-wired kit and the overall length to be perfect for lighting under my Ram 1500. The connectors to string the lights to each other don't appear to be weather tight so I did opt to cutting them off and using a heat shrink butt connector to give the peace of mind that no water will cause the lights from not performing as I wanted. The lead wire is a very generous length and made it easy to run it to power and ground. I tapped into an existing stock light so when I turn my cargo light on or when I unlock my truck these lights turn on and light up the ground around my truck. The light output is pretty good, there are brighter products but if this was used for its intended purpose it would be plenty bright enough. The light color is pretty white but does give off a very slight purple hue so it's not a pure white output. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and product.

Looks and works well. The mounting screws make sure of a solid fit. The switch is a nice addition.

Installed these on a 2016 Ram 1500, equipped with the OEM LED light kit and after the application of an aftermarket spray in liner. I basically tapped these into the OEM lights on the rear of the bed, than ran each string up the side, three to a side. I have a Bakflip MX4 along with the Bakbox 2, and ran the fourth light on each string up to the mounting bracket on each side of the toolbox, so the light shines in there as well. I drilled out the hole on the Xprite LED module a little bit so as to fit a bolt in there to be secured with a nut and a washer...I wanted to be able to remove the light in the event I was dismounting the toolbox. All wires were bundled so as to take up the slack, and secured with zip ties. Rig is very bright, and comes on with the OEM LED lights. The Xprite white lights are not an exact match to the OEM LEDs, but it's not enough to bug me. The Xprite lights appear to stick to the spray in liner just fine even though it is textured. Very nice. I'll be buying more of these.

I ordered 2-sets...One set for rock lights and one set for the bed. I also ordered an LED installation wiring kit to make it easier. Keep in mind, the distance between each light pod is 2 feet, which will fit fine in the bed of the truck without cutting wires...Where as, for the underneath rock lights, I spliced every pod with an extension power/ground wire. The double sticky tape provided on each pod is in good quality and sticks on the first application. (hard to get off!) I also followed up with the small screw that's included to secure the pod to the truck. Can't beat the price for the output these little things put out! Highly recommended!

The good: the lights are LED bright & there are 8 pods with 3 LED per pod. The not so good: The lights came with very little installation instructions. The wires are 18-22 awg (very thin), however, works fine. Thankfully I watched a video that was very helpful on installation. I will be happier once they are installed and working.

Installed these in my 2023 Colorado, drilled a hole for the switch and it works perfectly.

Used only three of the lights out of the kit for footwell lights in my Silverado HD. Used the dome light module that venom trucks sells which has a extra wire that feeds the footwell lights and plugs right into your BCM. The lights come on with any door opening and fade out once the door is closed. I took it a step further and install the high quality micro sized dimmer switch from Amazon and plugged neatly into the OBD2 bracket. This allowed me to either dim the lights or turn them off all together if I was not interested in having lights in the footwells. I fused it with a 3 amp fuse. The front foot well lights were simple, as I simply attached to the HVAC vents. After I install the passenger side I looped the power wire back along the underside of the center console to the rear where there's a portion of the rear of the console underneath the cup holder that indents inward so I routed the wire up there drilled a 7/16 hole ran the wire through and use the double-sided tape to adhere to the underside of the console so it was hidden well enough and not unsightly when turned off. I ordered another full set so I could install the bed lights as well and will review once I have those set up. I found that these lights are dimmable without flickering and give a nice overall appearance for footwell lighting.

Nice and bright for a truck bed light but do not overtighten if you’re screwing them down. The foam backing allows it to bend if you do and it breaks the connection so all the lights down the line won’t work either. Also the current draw is very small so I wired directly into the 2 factory ram bed lights, so they come on with them and the factory switch. Time will tell about durability though.

As described. Not super bright but just right. Easy enough to install except that the wiring diagram was wrong. Comes with 4 lights per side. Didn't measure but must be at least 16 feet (8 feet of lights and 8 foot pigtail to hook up). Only used 3 lights per side because my box is only 5.5 feet long. I like that I could unplug the last strand of lights and use them somewhere else. Only used the tape on the back of lights. (It did come with little screws too). Time will tell if they hold. Other than the instructions mentioned above, very happy with purchase.

I used 2 of these for footwell lighting in my 2020 Sierra. Love them.

Excellent quality lights. For the price you definitely can’t go wrong I run xprite on all my vehicles and have never had any issues have yet to install but tested them an are really bright
