What pipe wrench and size(s) would be best to loosen a garden hose from the faucet?

Pretty weird question to be asking me but here goes. You may not even need a pipe wrench- a pair of 12 in pump pliers might do the job That being said a small 12 in long ( 2-3in ) pipe wrench would work fine. You are going to want something to hold the nozzle of the spigot while you loosen the fitting. You definitely DO NOT WANT the pipe wrnech I bought as it weighs 50 lbs and is for use on 6-8 in diameter pipe
