App is very intuitive but not for your average user after everything is setup correctly it works flawlessly with alexa was able to configure our ac mini split our curtains and our fans since almost everything we connect is RF (except the ac)we dont have any issue with line of sight devices and even though my ac is the farthest and IR from them all it works every time without any problem

I was able to add devices very easily, easier than my Bond even. The main issue I have with this product is it doesn’t work with Alexa at all. I followed directions perfectly and linked my accounts in skills and it only pickups the temp sensor. I do not recommend this product at all if planning to use Alexa. If you plan to use it for only app support only than it works just fine.

If you own at Home Decorators Collection (such as the Altura model) Ceiling fan (available at Home Depot) it uses an RF remote, Anderic RR7222T / CHQ7222T. The RF remote uses a RF frequency of 304 MHz. The RM4 Pro only works with RF devices that operate at the 433 MHz frequency (range: 430-440MHz). The RF frequency information was provided in the product description and is commonly used by most all USA home devices... so I was surprised that a ceiling fan sold in the USA would use something other than this... There are RF devices like Sensibo that have wider RF frequency capability. Strike 1 star from the product rating. Additionally, I intended to use the RM4 to control my EG4 Electronics Hybrid Mini-spilt (using the IR signal capability of the RM4). However, once again, this product is not supported. Strike 1 more star. Using the BroadLink app, I was hopeful that I could use it to customize for this unsupported mini-split AC unit ("AC Remote Full Display" or "AC Remote Simple Type". Unfortunately, it failed to learn and transmit my remote control buttons to the mini-split even though the RM4 was located 6 feet from the AC unit. Strike 1 more star from the rating. As near as I can tell, you need to keep the RM4 very close to the appliance and definitely in line of sight... seems to have poor signal strength. Thus, I was not able to use this device for any of the devices I had hoped to connect with using the RM4 Pro. So back to looking for something else to help integrate these appliances with my Hubitat C-8 Hub (home automation). The RM4 is of no value to me.

I use this to control my shades and it works pretty well. The only issue I have is that the device apparently sends one quick RF code and the shades often don’t hear it. This doesn’t really mimic the normal handheld remote which apparently sends the code repeatedly while the button is pressed. Therefore the normal handheld remote works reliably but I have had to program the RM pro to send the code at least 3 times to have confidence that the shades will hear it. I would recommend that they add the option to send a code for a setable duration of time such as 1/2 or one second. This would much better mimic what a normal infrared remote is doing. Nonetheless, I like the RM pro and recommend it.

Works perfectly with my fans and TV. I was able to integrate it with Google assistant. I have created an activity that turn my fans on for 1 hour if the temperature is 32 degree celsius or higher.

Remote operating of multiple storm shades. Worked well while away!

Let me start by I am a network admin. I would say I have a good grasp of how to setup a wifi device. I had to create a separate 2.4ghz wifi for this with support for lower security standards and older equipment for it to be seen in the app. Device was connected to my exisisting network fine but the app wouldn't see it. The app need an option to add remote by ip address to remedy. Once setup, works great with devices my Harmony wouldn't support. Would recommend, but with a caution of the app is a pain

Finalmente grazie a questo dispositivo ho duplicato i telecomandi dei miei Frangisole rendendole Smart. Cosa che non riuscivo a fare con nessun altro. Facile da installare. Presente una lunga lista di brand per la duplicazione. Ma anche se il proprio telecomando non è sulla lista c’è la possibilità di captare la frequenza del proprio telecomando e quindi essere duplicato. Parliamo di radio telecomandi quindi che agiscono con la radiofrequenza. Ottimo

1. Die Gebrauchsanweisung beim Produkt ist ehr lächerlich. 2. Bei mir ging die Online-Hilfe in der App nicht. 3. Erfordert sichere 2,4-GHz-WLAN-Netzwerke. Tja, bedeutet wohl: Macht auch große Probleme bei Netzwerken, die in Beiden Bereichen funken und ist somit nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Die Verbaute WLAN-Technik entspricht den Standards von 1997 (mutmaßlich) 4. Ging überhaupt nicht mit meiner AVM 7590 AX, aktives IPv6 und automatischer Kanalwechsel, WPA2/3 war wohl zu viel für die altmodische Technik in dem Gerät. 5. Das "beste" ist allerdings, dass nach einigen Hardware reset's nichts mehr ging. 6. Fazit: Netter Versuch aber für meine Umgebung nicht brauchbar, bzw. nicht haltbar genug. Ich werde mir jetzt wohl zum Steuern der Geräte wieder von Amazon den Fire Cube holen, der machte das mit und das mit mordernster WLAN-Technik!
