Bridge Between Worlds: Extraordinary Experiences That Changed Lives

I had high hopes for this book even though I thought that The Way Of The Peaceful Warrior was stupid. Bridge Between Worlds was worse. Byron Katie's story rings true and credible. Many others (particularly those containing references to Jesus and stigmata) just seemed absurd. I'm also fairly sure that Edgar Cayce was discredited quite some time ago. While I still believe that spontaneous systemic life changes happen, most of the stories in this book make one want to invoke the effects of suggestibility and the placebo effect.

I was thrilled when I found this book by Dan Millman and the second it showed up on my doorstep, I devoured its contents. This book, like Dan's books always do, further changed my life for the better. Never have I felt so at ease with life and its natural rhythms. The miracles shared have touched my heart and my life in a way I thought only God could. It just stands as a testimony to me that God blesses our lives with the works of others and I'm so grateful to Dan Millman for collecting these stories to share with millions of others who need more hope in their lives. Best purchase ever!

Great book!

Having been a fan of Dan Millman since the release of Peaceful Warrior, I purchased this book with much anticipation. I kept reading each story hoping to reveal a new modern miracle but nothing, nada, zip. I'm extremely disappointed that these two wonderful authors released a book with stories that have been around for years if not centuries. Reminds me of how Yanni, a musician I admire, produced numerous cd's with the same music, when the only thing that really changed was the cover. Either he is a genius marketer or we are just gullible consumers! But face it, Yanni is a feast for the eyes. LOL As far as this book is concerned...I say, save your money. May I suggest we remember to write in our gratitude journal every day...'Feel it Real' and create our own miracles.

I like Dan Millman but this book just seemed a bit trite and a repetition that ceased to be magical pretty rapidly. I was disappointed.

Awesome stories in this book. When I read them it just sends shivers through my body. As expected form Dan Milman.

This is a beautiful book and I found it an inspirational journey through the lives of so many people who had transformational awakenings and who went onto transform the lives of others.It gives a clear picture "that everything happens for a purpose" in our lives and the meaning is very often not obvious when traumas occur.I found it to be a great collection of inspirational people including Dan Millman himself one of the authors.I would highly recommend this book.

bought this used for 66p ,,,well just goes to show ,,it was great book with amazing inspiring stories,with many getting help from the "unexplained" in different ways. ..I loved it !

This book is a wonderful collection of truly inspiring event's in normal people's lives.Easy to read, hard to put down and very enjoyable and rewarding.Would definitely recommend!
