Can I use the plunger assembly with any other French press?

It depends on your lid. If your lid is domed, you will need the longer plunger assembly, which has a total height of 8.25 inches. However, if your lid is flat, you will need the shorter plunger assembly, which has a total height of 7.75 inches.

Can I order just the cross plate?

Yes, you have the option to order other French press replacement parts individually or as a set.

What are the step-by-step directions for proper use and assembly of a plunger?

1. Disassemble the old plunger. 2. Thread the new rod into the hole on your flat lid. 3. Attach the flat solid knob to the top of the rod. 4. At the other end of the rod, start the finely threaded nut with the round closed top facing the lid.

What is the correct arrangement for the three filters in the plunger assembly?

1. Place spiral plate on top. 2. Insert mesh filter in the middle. 3. Position cross plate at the bottom.
