Ya’ll!!!! These curtains are a MUST HAVE!! I have gone through several different “blackout” curtains but these are for sure blackout curtains. In the picture below, it was 10 am and it was still very dark in my room. Also, the curtains are giving back in the day movie curtain vibes in terms of quality. High quality and the wrinkles seem to fall out with time. They were easy to install. I did the whole installation myself. And as you can see, my window is long. 133 inches to be exact. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This is probably the fourth time I've purchased NICETOWN panels over the past few years. I'm always impressed with the color, quality, and blackout results. I have a hectic sleeping schedule due to insomnia and obligations. Any light seeping through my windows makes it difficult to get a decent night's rest. Thankfully, I found these curtains which seem to block 90-95% of all light that tries to disturb my slumber. If you're on a fence about it GET THEM and thank me later!

This is my second purchase! Totally blackout and no neighbors can see in!!! The fabric is soft, thick and hangs nicely without ironing! None of the white stiff rubber backing to deal with. They wash well at home, no dry cleaners. A bonus is they seem to muffle sound. I have a corgi who is a barker. I want to be a good neighbor. These help. He can’t see out and they say his barking is less and quieter when he does bark.Also there were more length options to fit my needs. Installation was a breeze.

I live in Alaska. I was skeptical that these would actually block sunlight.. which we get 20+ hours a day in summer. We're well into summer solstice and I can tell you I'm quite impressed with the light blocking. I find the panels to be sufficiently thick enough for a light barrier mid summer here. I bought Burnt Orange if that matters. I'm not sure they will be as effective blocking the sub zero temps in winter, but I bought them knowing they weren't meant for that specifically. Overall im pleased with the cost and light blocking ability.

These are not 100% blackout but still good. The seller should have better description as it will cut down on returns. They make another type that is black on the outside which is 100% blackout, which is what I got after returning these.

They slide right onto my curtain rod and move smoothly whenever I want to let in a bit more light. But honestly, I rarely opened them fully because they block out so much light—exactly what I was hoping for! I’d say they cut out about 85%-99% of the light, which is perfect for my schedule and privacy.On top of that, these curtains are thermal insulated and soundproof, which means my bedroom stays cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Which is perfect for how the sun hits these windows in the seasons. I’ve also noticed a big difference in blocking street noise, which has really improved my sleep quality. Be careful, I rarely know it is raining outside! It’s amazing how much more at peace I feel when the light and noise are kept to a minimum.Style-wise, they look fantastic. The color is consistent on both sides, and they have a sleek, wrinkle-free finish right out of the package. I recognize that not everyone wants to go fully black out. In fact, I have begun paring these with a sheer curtain on a 2nd rod and this makes a huge statement. If you want to pair them with sheers or other curtains, the NICETOWN store has lots of matching options, so it’s super easy to create a cohesive look.Lastly, maintenance is stress-free. I love that they’re machine washable and can handle years of use without losing their shape or color. Just remember to use cold water and a mild detergent—no bleaching! A quick low-temperature iron (if needed) takes care of any minor wrinkles. I am proud to say that I have had these installed in 3 of my spaces and am proud to say, I just bout sets for two more spaces. They outlast more pricey options. These look the same way as they did when I bought them 2 year ago.Overall, I’m beyond happy with these NICETOWN Blackout Curtains. Fantastic material and perfect fit for updating a closet (78”). I wanted to remove the outdated sliding doors and as a bonus, curtains are just plain easier to deal with. I used a steam iron on them after hanging and 10 minutes later, awesome!
