The manufacturers/producer of this item proved to be highly sensitive and responsive to their product’s performance. They contacted me after reading my poor review and offered to make things right by refunding me the cost of the item. So as to not throw coffee away, I open the pods (messy/ tedious) and empty them into a coffee jar and use it as loose grains. I was pleasantly surprise at how delicious my cup of coffee tasted this way. Great to know you are dealing with a company that stands behind its product, customer satisfaction, and image. Great coffee. Great customer service, and great brand.

I just switched from Lavazza ESE pods to these, prior to that was Illy and non pod espresso. They are definitely smoother with less bitterness than the Lavazza, they may be a lighter roast than the Lavazza or simply just better beans. Recently I bought a pound of blond espresso from Starbucks to compare, it was a waste of $12, I had to throw it away after about 10 shots. While some people say that the ESE pods take away from the flavor of the coffee or that they aren’t fresh, their palettes must be much more refined than mine. What is probably happening is that these larger coffee houses cannot maintain a steady supply of high quality coffee and over roast in order to cover up the larger amounts of Robusto they must use. Either way, this is my current favorite, try it.

They need to put in the initial description that these are made for specific espresso machine. Using the term “Pod” invokes a sense that they can be used in single use Keirig type makers. Now I’m stuck with a box of coffee pods I can’t use, even tried them like a tea vag to steep in the hot water. Waste of money.

I love my morning espresso! I didn't like the time I spent grinding, pressing, making & cleaning every cup! I went towhere I knew I could find a quality "pod" and I DID! I love everything about these, PERIOD! quick, clean, economicaland the flavor is FANTASTIC! I have at least 2 cups every single morning except when we are not at home! Most ofthe time I will use a 20 oz. cup, pour in flavored creamer, pour in espresso and top off with coffee and you have awonderful start of the day! I thought I'd try it once and I've now ordered twice and will continue to order! Any company that we have is also amazed at the "quality" of the taste, EVERY SINGLE TIME! try it, you'll love it!thank you, God bless!

This coffee is fantastic - I get it every month. It's generally smooth and has great flavor. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because occasionally a bag will have obviously older (more bitter) beans, but in general it's great!

We love our espresso’s. So much so, we enjoy 4-5 of these a day between my wife and I. The taste is perfect and the tea bag type pods are the only way to go. Of course, you pay for the convenience of not having to grind your own coffee. We order it by the case and it lasts us 3-4 months. The only way to go for us espresso lovers on a budget.

It's OK. But for the price i was expecting more. It barely squeezes out a double espresso, if that. no option for more.
