Have started a collection of Kobalt tools, and got tired of the low amp "stock" batteries (anyone climbing trees with an electric chainsaw will understand). Anyway... Really good luck with these supplemental batteries, so far. They work as advertised, put out the same power (from what I can tell), and at a much better price.

These might have slightly less real world battery life than the actual Kobalt batteries, the cost of these by far outweighs the few minutes of lost run time.

Very good product

My original Kobalt batteries provided a long charge but stopped charging (common Kobalt battery charging error issue). These batteries are a good replacement and charge quickly in the Kobalt charger. However, the batteries don't seem to hold a charge as long as original Kobalt batteries.

I've only had these batteries for a week so this is a preliminary review, but so far I'm very impressed. These are replacing a 2 year old Kobalt battery that would no longer take a charge. The power and longer amount of time between charges is evident with these 6.5Ah batteries as opposed to the 4.0Ah Kobalt batteries. I've accumulated Kobalt batteries over the past few years as I've bought more battery operated tools. These batteries significantly outperform even the newer Kobalt batteries. It's especially noticeable with the blowers. I can eek out about 12 minutes of full power with the Kobalt batteries, these are lasting 15+. Time will tell if they continue with the impressive performance. I'll update this review over time and adjust the stars accordingly. With significantly lower cost than Kobalt, I expect the value for the money to remain high.

Exactly like the original. However, I am utilizing the increased Ah to power the electric mower and weed eater perform an extra hour.

These batteries will not hold a charge when used in my blower. At most I get 3 - 4 min of use on a full chcarge. Pitiful, do not expect much from them.
