Very easy to use. Includes the gasket to put between the cords.Place the gasket over the cord end onto the plug prongs. Open the Clamshell fitting and insert the cord end and close. repeat with other half on other cord. Make sure the cord ends will fit into the smaller half. Screw the two halves together. Set/place the cord where it is best protected. This is not waterproof (do not submerge in water), but will keep rain/snow etc. out of the connection.This keeps my electrical cord connections protected.

No instructions; not completely weather or waterproof; required some creative efforts to make use of the product.

It was nice to have something easy to use and safe. Last year I resorted to a plastic bag and tape.

They work well for Christmas lights.

These work great to protect plugs from the elements. I recently purchased a device to keep the water in my birdbath from freezing and used these covers. In my opinion if you have outdoor items to plug in these are a need.
