I absolutely love this product! Using it 1-2 times per week has helped my hair health so much! I have hair down to the top of my butt (im 5'2"), so about 3 feet from root to end. I also color my hair( all over color lvl 6/full highlights lvl 8/9 and platinum money pieces) about 6 times per year. After shampooing, I put this on my hair from about 6 inches below my roots thru the ends of my hair. After rinsing it out, I just use a regular conditioner afterwards. I use this religiously 1x times per week in place of a deep conditioner, which I now only do 1x a week. It is so fast, only 8 seconds, it doesn't slow me down in the shower. The smell is very light in the bottle/while using it and after using it. If you use a leave in conditioner after your shower, then you wont notice a difference. If you do not use any other products after showering, you may notice a light, clean and silky scent but only is you put your hair in your face. I do not notice any smell at all in my day to day. All in all, this is a product I have been using since 2023 and will continue to use as long a it is made. Im sure I am late to the game, but im so glad I found it. It makes my butt length hair silky smooth and manageable, even while coloring/lightening it regularly. If you are on the fence, GET IT! I put it on subscribe and save, so it is even cheaper!

I have used the Loreal Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water in the past and it is magic. It heats up in your hand and is amazing. You rinse off and it will make your hair very soft immediately. When I bought this I didn't realize it was the long hair version. The Original version instructions were to apply to whole head but this Long Hair version says to avoid getting it on your scalp: "After Elvive Dream Lengths shampoo, apply to wet hair, only to lengths, avoid the scalp. Massage for 8 seconds, then rinse. Follow with conditioner, then blow dry for optimal shine." I applied as directed to length but did not notice it warming. The ingredient list is not the same, I will paste both below. I did not notice the improvement with this version that I did with the original. I have fine hair that is easily weighed down, the original formula gave me silky hair without weight. This formula didn't weigh it down but it didn't make my hair silky like the original formula. Flyaways were visibly reduced with this long hair product, though. I don't think this is a bad product, it just wasn't the miracle formula of the original (darker bottle) version. When asked the difference between versions, the manufacturer posted " Hi there! Our Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water Lamellar rinse-out liquid treatment is 8 seconds to silkier, shinier, healthier looking hair. Visibly transforms hair from the 1st use. Our Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water Lamellar Rinse-Out instantly transforms long damaged hair in 8 seconds. We hope you give one a try soon!" So I guess they don't know the difference either. I will say that it's worth trying the other one if you try one and you don't find it doing anything. I prefer the original but I know some people haven't liked it so maybe this formula is for them. This seemed too good to be true. But it’s not. It’s amazing. I have baby fine hair that breaks easily despite using expensive hair products for decades. I looked up to see how it works, lamellar water I think was the type of ingredient that just fills in the damaged areas and leaves the rest of the hair strand uncoated, and bouncier than mine has ever been. I always need more and more moisture on my hair to keep it from feeling dry, yet somehow this no-weight conditioner gives so much fullness at the scalp, where I need it and volume all the way to the tips. 3 people asked me in one day if I’d had a haircut. My hair actually looked longer after this product, but my always scraggly strands were so full and my hair so smooth you could actually see the blunt cut at the bottom and my hair looked so much more styled. I’ve been using it six months or so and I could never use anything else again. If you have baby fine hair this is a game changer in every way. I read all these bad reviews about hair falling out. I think they were a scam against the product because they all had similar photos and phrases. So I was wary at first but there were too many reviews that raves about it. I had to try it. I’m bleached almost white so my hair needs seriously good products. Nothing I have ever used does what this can do for thin fine hair. Hair is full and has body for the first time ever. It could not possibly be more soft and yet it’s never weighted down so it shines beautifully. This stuff is magic for us women with fine hair. One of a kind.

ok WOW. i recently started using the dream lengths shampoo & conditioner along with this, the dream lengths serum and the leave in conditioner but this product has by far made the most difference in my hair. i have never used anything like this. it has made my hair so smooth and silky after being completely (air) dried. it is true that it has a warming sensation when being applied in the shower which is interesting but not alarming. once i rinsed it out and began to start air drying i wasn’t sure if it was going to make a difference bc i have a lot of frizz around my mid sections to ends. oh my goodness once it was fully air dried my hair is SILKY. it’s borderline like i’ve flat ironed it already. the only downside is i didn’t buy multiple bottles at once when i purchased this one!

I love perfume in general and I don't mind fragrance at all BUT I didn't feel crazy about how this one smelled. It felt like, it just wasn't formulated all that well. I really prefer the original, that one smells so much nicer. This lamellar water still performed as it was supposed to, so no complaints there, my only issue was the particular scent.

I was curious and bought this to try it out. My hair is very frizzy and tangles like crazy. It's tough to manage even though it's not thick and full, rather thin. I have trouble finding the right product for my hair. This actually makes my hair much better, softer, easy to comb and brush, looks more alive. Will order another bottle once I run out of the first one. It also smells very nice. I'm using the shampoo, conditioner, and no cut cream as well alongside this magic water. Every hair type is different, but I think I finally found the right hair care stuff for me.
