Sorbothane Unisex UltraSole Insoles

Working on my feet for 10 hrs per day was a complete nightmare. Finding insoles that provide proper cushion without being too thick to make the shoe tight was a huge challenge... until I found these. Sorbothane is the most shock absorbing material on the planet and these insoles are amazing. They're thin enough to put in my dress shoes while providing amazing cushion. After 2 days of use my foot pain is completely gone and I didn't even think about it anymore. If you're suffering from foot pain and are struggling to find the right insoles do yourself a favor and buy these bad boys now. You won't be disappointed!

This is my favorite insert since launching my insert odyssey about a year ago. I've tried about five different ones and found this to be the most shock absorbent. They are pretty thick so they could tighten up you shoe box a bit too much if your shoes are already a tight fit.

I've spoiled myself with these high quality replacement insoles! Now I've got to have a set in every pair of shoes-- not just my running sneakers. I used the original Sobothane UltaSole product beginning in the 90's and I've never found another brand that surpasses the Sorbothane series of insoles. The only change I've noticed is in the top surface. The original ones had a "slick" (almost rubber like) surface that your foot contacted. Instead, the newer ones have a thin fabric layer on top. I have found it is NOT an improvement. The original surface was more comfortable. Moisture was never an issue, so this change serves no purpose that I have discovered. Quite the opposite: the new fabric layer begins to peel away and roll up at the edges fairly quickly and eventually this renders the insert no longer functional. In contrast, I have a couple of the original ones that still function perfectly even after many, many years. However, this is really a small concession in the larger picture. Other inserts have even a shorter functional life and don't offer near the performance and comfort. I'm just grateful that these have remained and are still available today. I have tried other brands including ones double or tripple the price, but none have equaled (much less surpassed) the UltraSole in my experience. People have different needs and expectations-- so it's a very subjective opinion, but I always recommend these. The most important place to start is to know the characteristics you need in your situation. Only then can you find the best match for your feet.

Good quality for standing all day

My favorite cushioning shoe, or boot insert. I have used them in my running shoes, work shoes, and my walking shoes. I have used them for more than 20 years. I don't go without them.

Makes any shoe I have too tight. I can't wear comfortably.

I have actually been blown away at the difference these insoles have made for me. I put these in a pair of very expensive running shoes that were extremely uncomfortable. I am on my feet for ten hours a day on mostly concrete walking, running, and standing. In just the shoes my feet hurt tremendously after just a few hours. It was so bad that I switched back to an older worn out pair to finish my week. After putting these insoles in there is no discomfort at all! That even includes the month of 12 hour shifts I worked during Christmas. The shoe size fits was perfect. No trimming needed. What I also love is I can't even tell they are there. Once I replaced the insoles that came with my shoes with these I forgot they were even there. It's like they were made for these shoes. And no slippage of the insoles within the shoe. Very impressive considering how much twisting and lateral movement I do throughout the shift.

Sorbothane are by far the best inserts I have ever used. These saved my feet during Special Forces assessment and selection (SFAS), and though that was almost twenty years ago, the product is still the same high quality. I use them for running but I don’t feel they make that big of a difference for me, (probably because I don’t run enough distance). Where they make a big difference is when you’re on your feet for long periods whether it be walking, hiking, rucking or a job like nursing or cashier; the cushion these inserts provide is worth every penny and more. I can get other brand inserts for free at work but they aren’t even worth the bother. The only complaint I have is that there are some shoes I can’t fit them in, e.g. Merell’s, there just isn’t enough room but that’s part of the trade-off, you can’t have that much cushion and support and be super thin.

Best insoles ever!

El paquete (una bolsa de cartón) llegó a tiempo, un día antes de lo anunciado. La caja del producto llegó abierta y dañada en varias partes. Lo primero me hizo pensar que habría sido devuelta por alguien más, sin embargo el producto (las plantillas) estaban bien. El detalle de que la caja del producto haya llegado dañada se lo atribuyo al manejo y a la mensajería (DHL) quienes suelen ser poco cuidadosos con los paquetes, al menos con los de Amazon. En cuanto a las plantillas, que son “la nueva versión”, no me parecieron tan buenas como las originales que fabricaban cerca de 20 años atrás.
