Not what you expect
It looks like hardcover, I bought the monster book alone and it was a thick hardcover book. These are very thing sofcovers which were very dissapointing

Als Anfänger kann ich diese Sammlung nur Empfehlen. Gerade in Gruppen mit Neulingen sind diese Hefte eine schöne kleine Informationsquelle. Die Bebilderung ist sehr schön und reichlich vorhanden.

Great introduction to the world of D&D
Although it is written for an younger audience to introduce the lore of D&D, I would say it is great for anyone who wants to learn about the world, characters, dragons and everything about D&D. I loved reading it all, and when I got to the actual rule books that introduced these ideas, it was much easier to grasp, and when I see these topics anywhere else, I have the necessary context to understand them. The books are amazing great art, even if it is for a younger audience, it is still fun.
