Rubies Sonic the Hedgehog: Costume for Kids, Boy's Medium

Great quality however won’t fit perfectly if your child is very tall

Cool costume not the best but it will do, my only complaint is the hat, it’s floppy but I had also bought a hat so it wasn’t a issue for me.

Got this for my 10 yr old size large fit perfect! If you have MARIO gloves they work too. He looked adorable. Head piece was a little small not deep enough for a head but I placed it on a doll for about a 2 weeks to keep its shape and it worked!

I ordered this for my soon to be 5 year old for Halloween. He loves the costume. It's easy to put on, it's a nice, bright blue that matches the colors of Sonic that you would expect. It comes with gloves, but my son normally doesn't wear them. He did put them on and they were comically large (likely to match the aesthetic of Sonic himself). When he did wear them, he was unable to use his hands. But like I said, this wasn't a problem for me as my son didn't want to wear it. The hat, however, is too small. Sure, it fits on his head, but the strap that goes underneath his chin is tough to velcro together. It will stick together, but barely and comes off easily (not because of the velcro but because of the size). And the cap part of the hat slides off his head. He ended up taking it off when we went early trick or treating. He's happy, so it's fine by me, but if your child is dead set on wearing the hat (as one might expect) be a bit weary or at least understand it may not fit perfectly. I can't speak for larger sizes, but based on what I've read, it's a one size fits all type of head piece. In terms of value, I was pleased.

The item is not as it is described. The material is said to be heavier - good for cold nights, but it is the usual thin costume material. The mask is not really a full mask, it barely covers the face of my 7 year old's face. The gloves are just silly, they don't fit at all and they look like they are made for a toddler or a doll (I bought a large). All of that being said, my son loves the costume. The body of the costume fits him fine and will definitely serve its trick-or-treating purpose. Because he didn't read the description, he sees nothing wrong with it at all. Overall, I would have liked it to be as described, but it makes him happy and will work for the one night he will need to wear it. I suspect it will endure a decent amount of costume play as well.

Great looks good on my 7 year old brother I love it and he said it’s comfortable not like other itchy costumes.

The hat didn't look right. My daughter ended up pinning it to my grandsons stocking cap for comfort. And the gloves were ridiculously too big. His hands were swimming in them.

Poorly constructed and cheaply made. Materials are sheer on the costume and the headpiece is horrible. I'm still trying to figure out how to deal w/the spikes flip flopping all around. They are made of the cheap foam material and do not have enough cushion to be able to play w/them and make them stick up like they are on the picture. I am terrible disappointed on this product and against my will; I'm going to end up keeping it solely because my son adores Sonic. Spend your money elsewhere for a better constructed costume.

Fits good, seems well made, its a Halloween costume.

It is a sonic costume, yes. But I have a few gripes with this costume. Seems low quality- thin materials, etc like many kids costumes. It doesn’t fit or look quite like what is pictured. The spikes Velcro on, which I guess is fine, but they are flimsy an flop around. Lastly, I wish it came with a face mask so the the sonic smile/nose didn’t have to be left to the imagination. At the end of the day though, our kid didn’t care about most of these things, and he still got to be sonic, so it wasn’t all bad
