Incredibly easy installation. So much easier than anticipated. Just replacing an old, broken button. Do wish that I would have bought a lighted one but that was my mistake. It is exactly as advertised. It’s such a simple item and cannot see it working any better for my replacement duty.

Looks like it will fit my old doorbell.

Perfect replacement. However. just like the original. it can break easily. Very delicate.

Spring is hard to push and I was really excited to install it and find out this is not lighted, the package did not say unlighted the title of the object in the search engine of Amazon did not say unlighted, I asked Amazon's search engine for a lighted and so I ordered this one and it is not lighted. So part of the problem is Amazon and it's search engine giving unrelated results.

Perfect replacement button

I purchased this to replace a lighted inset that came with a more expensive doorbell surround. My house has three garage doors, two garage genie’s and an off-brand. The third opener switch failed and I couldn’t find an exact replacement. I initially purchased a fairly overpriced, but admittedly quality-looking doorbell thinking it would work. Unfortunately I hadn’t learned that lighted push-buttons don’t work with garage doors. I attempted to modify the button to get rid of the light and it failed miserably. Rather than abandon the project, I purchased this product, shaved out the hole of the housing, and paired them together. It works great, is reliable, opens my garage door - and looks good doing it. It’s definitely quality, though I felt it was a bit pricey, so I gave it 4 - stars instead of 5.

Needed a non-lighted replacement for a lighted button and this was perfect. Easy to install!
