At first I almost sent this unit back because it would not register on my Wifi. I was trying to connect on my iPhone 8plus. Then I tried it on my iPad and it quickly connected and is working properly as I type. The night vision was not working because I didn’t know how to set it up. I contacted Morecam through Amazon website and quickly got a response from CS (Clarke). Clarke sent information for me to setup the night vision image I wanted. One of the smoothest transactions I’ve dealt with regarding problems purchasing products on the web. Good job.

The media could not be loaded. Edit 11/28/21: (video added) it’s gotten worse. About a week ago the app updated and has a new look, but since then no videos load. I still get motion alerts but the videos never load. I’ve contacted support for help and don’t hear anything back. Avoid this product at all costs, it’s been a headache and we’re tossing it in the trash at this point.I ordered this doorbell because it had really great reviews and a discount that was about $25 cheaper than the Ring Doorbell. Installation was fairly easy and setting up the doorbell with the app took about 30 minutes. I was not aware that the first person to set up the doorbell on the app is the person that has full control; you have an option to share the camera with other people in your household but only one person is able to change settings, even though you can choose to grant full control or just view the camera, so this is kinda annoying.Secondly, after the first week we started to notice inconsistency with motion alerts and motion detection all together. We had the doorbell sensitivity set to 3 initially (5 is the highest). It was set to 3 for about two weeks, but we were getting frequent alerts for cars and people walking by so we turned it down to 2 for a few days. This setting was best and detected motion about 10 feet away from our door, but this lasted for just a few days and now the alerts are very seldom and sporadic. There’s been several times I try to check the camera throughout the day and it says it’s offline or gets stuck loading (see photo). This happened last week after we had the camera charging overnight. I’ve tested it myself and walked back and forth in front of the camera for a few minutes and it never detected my motion or alerted my phone, but about 20 minutes ago it detected a tree branch moving about 25 feet away. When the mailman comes it detects him every now and then, but he always come right up to the door. I order a lot of packages and don’t live in the best neighborhood, so the doorbell is practically useless for us since it rarely loads properly.If you come across this review, I would recommend a more well known doorbell camera and go with that option. I bought this one because of the reviews and the price, but it’s been such a headache we’re going to buy the Ring bell anyway.

The media could not be loaded. As a struggling college student in these hard times, I wanted an affordable doorbell camera to watch over my apartment during the times I would visit home. Little did I know, this device would save me many times over.It’s video quality is excellent with ample lighting and the night quality could honestly be better. But, this was an easy fix after realizing keeping the outside light on makes things more clear.The si for greatest thing about this camera is that it has a bright blue light that turns on and begins recording when it detects motion. This feature alone has deterred many would-be thieves. The attached video is one of many attempts in recent months that shows someone getting spooked by my camera. (There’s more to the video, just not gonna show someone’s face)My apartment complex is right next to a house-less folks encampment, and when we get bad weather people come on the grounds to seek refuge. Unfortunately, sometimes they also try to break in and see what they can find. This camera has kept me and my neighbors safe and I highly recommend it!!!
