Great quality, lots of pockets, very warm
I got this for my boyfriend, who freezes at 50 degrees lol. But this kept him warm even in the 20s. We're going to order another one for him to set back for next winter, so he has two of them. He doesn't typically comment on clothing I get for him, but this he's mentioned several times.

Decent buy
Great jacket just wish it had a beefyer zipper and better velcro on the cuffs . I picked it enough to get another when my first one crapped out after about 15 months. But it fits and looks great !

Great travel jacket
This is a great travel jacket. We’re in southern England in May, ‘26 and this is all the jacket I need. It is water- and wind-proof, reasonably warm, and comfortable. I am 5’10”, 220#, and the XXL is perfect- not baggy, but enough room to add a sweater or light vest underneath and still be comfortable. We’re headed for Wales and Scotland in the next 10 - 12 days, and I’ll update this if my experience changes in cooler places.

Great value for the overall quality
This is a functional, well-designed , hooded most-weather jacket this lightweight, comfortable, and ergonomic. I haven't had the chance to put it through the paces yet as the New Hampshire winter is just starting but it appears to be a true softshell jacket capable of fending off some fairly wet conditions. I wasn't overly impressed initiallywith the cold and wind resistance at first as I only wore it while waiting for my kids' bus in the 30 degree pre-Thanksgiving mornings. I get cold easy but the wind seemed to be getting to me. To be fair, I was wearing a t-shirt under it. The description says it has "fleece lining". It is a bit overstated as that description conjures up up an image of a plush lining that is warm and soft to the touch, all over the inside of the jacket. The reality is that it is in some spots and its fairly thin. It's mostly on the back (top half), under the arms to the bottom of the jacket, and the inside of the hood. I would have liked it to be on the inside of the mandarin collar, as it's nice to keep the neck warm with a mandarin collar. The rest is a typical synthetic lining you'd find in a winter coat. Since then, while wearing at least one long-sleeve layer underneath, it seems I underestimated it. I'm quite comfortable even with a decent wind with just a hooded sweatshirt underneath. I wore it snow-blowing the driveway and wasn't phased by the flying snow or the 20 degree temps for 45 minutes I was out there. Just as importantly I wasn't sweating either. I really like the design as I looked through at least 20 of similar soft shelled jackets to get what I was looking for. The side pockets had to go down to waist level for me. There are pockets galore and all in great places, including zippable pouch across the back. I imagine hunters would like that to put a hand warmer or two in there to keep their kidneys circulating that warmed up blood. I like the draw string for the hood as well as the ability to remove it as well as the Velcro tab to keep it out of the way. The aforementioned high collar seems to keep the wind and cold out and the adjustable sleeve cuffs are a nice touch. I'm average height and an ectomorph with slightly above average wingspan and narrow shoulders. Based on some of the reviews I decided to get a size down to a small, as I'm usually fine in a medium, although some hang off of me. If I wear three or four layers, I feel a little constricted but it might because my arms are a little long for a small. I'm curious how much bigger the medium is by I like my choice. My own criticism of this jacket is with the zipper. It's a two zip up design, my first experience with one. The bottom slider doesn't like to zip up without a slight hassle but I haven't had a cause or desire to use it much anyway. It's the elements (the "teeth) which poses the bigger problem. More frequently than I would have thought, the zipper simple pops and I have a gaping opening in my jacket. Thus far I've been able to zip down the jack all the way off (this is how I discovered the bottom zipper doesn't come up easily) but how many more times until the zipper won't work? I realize I'm wearing a size down but I don't have a beer belly so there's not a load of pressure in the abdominal area when these separations have occurred. If it happened once, I wouldn't think that much of it. But I've owned it for two full months and it has occurred at least six or seven times thus far. Like a lot of people, I've been bombarded with the Baerskin tactical hoodie ads and checked those out. The delay in ordering, the lack of customer service, and the cost scared me away and hence my discovery of this model. No way I was paying over $150 for a hoodie and a rain coat. Overall, in the limited time I've had it, this jacket fits and looks good and keeps me warm enough. I'm curious to as to how it performs in really wet weather but I'm a softie in my late middle age so I hope not to test it. I'm not sure if I would want to buy a another one unless they seriously address the zipper issue though. But it is comfortable and functional and the price is very very reasonable. For the price this is a an excellent wet/cold weather jacket choice and I'm largely happy with it. It's a very strong 3, I'd give it a 3.8 if I could. I'd give it a 3.8

Great Value!
Great value! Fits very well. Nice hood and quality fabric. Just what I was hoping for. Nice shell to be worn alone in cool weather or with a warm under garment for colder weather.

Stops the wind, no longer
Very comfortable fit. Very effective as a wind stopper. I truly loved this coat until today. After a few months, the zipper is now broken. No longer is the coat useful.. March April May. Only a three month coat. Not a bargain at all. I humbly submit I was wrong. I had forgotten that it has a 2 way zipper. The top was half way up. I love the pockets and have been wearing it daily since it arrived in March. Then, because of a cold spring, I wore a heated vest under it. Lighter, warmer and more comfortable than a heavy down coat.

Very well made
Very nice jacket, and of very good quality, the fit was perfect for me. The pockets are all well made and easily accessed. The zippers work well and the only issue I had was with the front zipper but once used a few times it ended up being fine. Also liked the length along the back side it really helps with the wind. I can also confirm it's windproof as I use it as a winter jacket and at - 20C, I wasn't feeling the cold though it.

Nice shell jacket for in-between seasons
Here in Canada we live through 4 seasons from quite warm to very cold. This jacket is made for intermediate seasons. It will keep you warm, if you wear a t-shirt and shirt or sweater down to about 6 celsius (43 F); lower than this, you will need to add layers. I used it at about 2 C with a sleeveless down vest. It is quite efficient to protect from the wind. I wore it in light rain and it did a good job to repel the water. The hood has 3 adjustment strings, making it easy to fit over your head; there is enough space to fit with a hat. Lower than 0 Celsius, I will use my winter jacket instead. The zippers are water resistant, but I wish the main zipper would be sturdier. You get several pockets with zippers but the back pocket is not very useful; it would be better to have those inside the jacket. The sizes are a bit big; I started with a medium but I had to exchange it for a small which is not really a tight fit; but that's OK since I want to use layers if needed. Overall, this jacket is well built and a good quality and value for the price.

Great jacket!
Well fitting, well made, true to size And the price point is on the spot; you don’t pay for a brand after all, but just for the jacket Also like the multiple zip pockets so you can carry all your small items without the need for a men’s purse The weak spot is the velcro on the wrist wich loses effectiveness after some time, but pretty easy to mend by sewing a button to hook the lanyard Choice of colors is limited, but since I am more earth tone than flashy it suits me well

Fits muscular/big people perfectly!
A great jacket with more pockets than I could use. Lots of velcro for patches, great in cold, windy weather. I'm a 295lb steelworker, and though it's not ALL muscle lol, buying a jacket to fit me is a challenge. This jacket in XXL fits my neck, back, shoulders and waist perfectly and has stood up to the rigors of a steel factory better than most. PLUS, it's tactical style. When we go out to bust some clays at the range, it's easy to stick some velcro shell caddies directly on the jacket for easy access and pockets to carry tools, oil, electronics or emergency medications.
