My nephew loved this.

I'm giving this 2 stars only because my son was smiling from ear to ear when he received it. It states that it is for ages 8 and up but I promise it would be easier to go find a real T-Rex's remains and build it. I who am 36 years old and build things all the time and work in construction have been attempting to put this thing together for over an hour now and I haven't been able to connect the ribs to the spine. 4 other people have attempted to put it together as well and now 4 hours later it still isn't out together. Only thing I have accomplished with this model is becoming beyond frustrated, cutting my hand open when my hand slipped while trying to connect two parts and having a 6 year old very disappointed. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again.

I bought this as a Christmas present and it is amazingly detailed, accurate and complete model. It is just the right size to draw attention without overwhelming the room. The assembly was easy with the use of the picture poster reference. It would be difficult if not impossible to mix up which part goes where. My son and I put this together in until 10 minutes. I was hoping for more pieces (only 21 for the model) to make the bonding time with him longer but a 6 year old can only hold their attention so long. It's an awesome display piece and the price is unbeatable for the size and detail! It is well built and will not come apart easily after assembly. If you order from Toy R Us place it is under $30 though.
