Excellent book! As a mother, I want to be purposeful in my prayer for my daughter. However, there are times when I don’t know exactly what to pray and I want to pray more. This book has helped me in so many ways, with so many scriptures and many examples of what to pray. I can’t recommend this enough.

I can’t count how many times I’ve referred back to this book to cover my babies in prayer. I have recommended it time and time again. It covers it all from in the womb to growing up and marrying/careers/finances. Just fantastic

I am reading through this book for the first time and can already see how beneficial it will be, not only now, but for years to come. Every parent loves their child and wants what is best for them, but how do we as parents ask God for these things? This book is a great tool for that! It teaches you to pray the promises found in scripture back to God, thus affirming the very things that God wants to give to them and opening the door for His blessings in their lives. The author is honest and has a very relatable tone. She suggests that this book can be read either all the way through or used by topic when a certain need arises. This is a great book for any praying parent and will make a difference in the way you pray.

This is a brilliant help for me in praying over my child. It helps me when I cannot think of what to say or am at a loss for words to pray. I have bought this a couple times for other friends as well. Would definitely recommend.

Very relatable and relevant to what many people go through in life. This book is a guide however I would recommend this to anyone looking for the Lord and looking to grow in their faith mind and soul. Beautifully designed and well written with love and compassion! This book does not separate the reader from the world in a sense of not being good enough or having to change your entire life to be right with the lord. No this book is the exact opposite. We are all humans we all struggle together and together we can all come as one and help eachother. As mentioned, beautifully written and relatable ! I would strongly recommend!

Let me begin by saying that I have MANY books on prayer. Stormie Omartian is probably my favorite author of this genre but this text did NOT disappoint. What I love about this book is that Mrs. Berndt begins the chapter with a story (either of her family or someone she knows) and then she applies the biblical principle to the story. She follows this up by offering insight on how you might apply these principles to your own situation and gives you the scriptures to use in order to do so. Finally, she ends each chapter with a series of scriptural mini-prayers related to the topic of the chapter. The organization of this text lends itself to a book study or parent bible study. I am currently using it as my study tool as I seek God about various aspects of my children's lives. I find the tone of this book to be one of encouragement--very conversational in style and it is what sets this text apart from other books on prayer. If you are looking for a book on how to pray for your children, this book is definitely one you should consider!

This is the perfect book to pray powerful prayers for your children. I have already seen quite a few answered prayers!

It took me longer than expected to finish the book but it was well worth it. I stopped several times to just embed some ideas from the chapters. I will definitely read it again and again. One thing that has left a mark is not to pray alone but partner with trusted friends who know my children. That’s my assignment to start a prayer group for our children. I know it’s not too late. This is a beautiful book. I just had my first child 6 months ago and I just started reading this during her naps. It’s a beautiful read and really helps you pray more intentionally for your Children.

Cannot reccomend this book more, it has become my standard baby shower gift. Such a powerful book to use as a tool to guide your prayers as you pray over your children.
