I received four natural sponges in my order.

What is the dark spot on some sponges. Can these be used for bathing?

The dark spots in this picture are mostly shadows. However, there could be dark spots on the sponges, and this is generally where the sponge was attached to the ocean floor. You could use these for bathing, but I would not recommend for that purpose. These are not very soft even when wet. Look for sponges that are meant for bathing.

They are real and whole sponges, but they are small ones about the size of your fist maybe a little smaller.
