The media could not be loaded.  This nail and makeup set is an ideal gift for Christmas and birthdays. My 6 year old loves it, and it contains just the right things for her. I wouldn’t really recommend this for anyone younger than 6 as the makeup isn’t ‘pretend’ child’s makeup really (it will stain your carpet).The stand feels really well made and once all the makeup is on it, it looks amazing visually. The mirror moves really easily but beware there isn’t another mirror on the other side; a magnified mirror would have been a nice addition (take note, manufacturer) to the other side to flip over. It won’t fall over very easily due to the gold stand at the edge holding the lip gloss and various tools, but if knocked the makeup and nail varnishes will fall off.You get lots of stuff with this; 1 blusher palette, 2 eye shadow palettes, 3 nail varnishes, a nail varnish remover, 3 lip sticks, 3 lip glosses, a makeup brush, a nail file, a nail dotter and some cuticle pushers. The included booklet is great too, loads to it with lots of illustrations and instructions which is handy.In terms of whether this is safe for a child, I can tell you our 6 year old didn’t have any adverse effects. You’re never really sure what’s in these things and where they have come from, however every piece of makeup does list what is in it on the packet which is good. I know it says for 7 year olds however my daughter is 6 and it’s fine on her. She has lots of fun with her mummy with this set.I’d say it really is worth the money, it looks great when setup and on show, it’s stores the makeup and tools neatly, the mirror is plenty big enough for anyone to do their makeup in and it’s safe. There are plenty of products here to get you going as a set and I’m sure the stand would be suitable for other kinds of makeups to sit on/in. 5/5 here, no issues.

There are so many issues with this product. I personally wouldn't suggest that any child younger than 12 should be using make up yet this product is clearly marketed and designed for younger children. The packaging will not be attractive to the 11 year at all as it seems for much younger child.The actual quality of the make up itself is not very good so not for an older child at all, it is also not suitable for sensitive skin.It is also so expensive. Total waste of money.

Our 7 year old loves this set., because it is in keeping with how grown up keeps telling us that she is. I like that the studio will encourage her to keep her make-up organised. Better materials could have been used for the price, but on the whole the set looks good. The make up is reasonable quality, and we have experienced no adverse reactions to it. Our "big" girl has found the guide booklet helpful.

This girls makeup studio is the perfect set for girls too young for adult makeup and too old for pretend makeup.My daughter is big into makeup and is at that exact age so this set is perfect for her.The box is big and very pretty, it has a rope handle and looks to be very gift-able. Ideal for Christmas or a birthday present. The contents are carefully packaged. Everything arrived in perfect condition.Set up was easy. I didn’t need instructions, I just used the box pictures as a guide. Once everything is set out, it looks great. There is a place for everything apart from two of the cuticle tools. I took those out of the set anyway just because they have a sharp edge and swapped it out with another small make up brush my daughter has.The station is nice and complete for a vanity table or desk. Everything is nicely displayed.The makeup is a decent quality for practicing, experimenting with colours and wearing around the house. The pigmentation of the powders is better than I expected. The lip glosses and lipsticks are lovely colours. The brushes are basic but do the job. The nail varnish’s are not too bright or garish.There is a very complete booklet included that gives instructions on how to use each item in the set, how best to apply the makeup and what suits different people. It’s great!My daughter was super excited about this set and it takes pride of place in her bedroom. It makes her feel grown up and gives her a fun activity for rainy days. This Professional Studio Make Up station is ideal as a starter set for girls and pre teens, but being a little too impractical for adults.This is the perfect set up for my 6 year old daughter who is really big into make up, being ideal to sit right on her new make up table. This is really easy to set up and has become the perfect little central focal piece to her table, which she loves.Everything slots into the slots perfectly, and are the perfect starter make up set for little girls, as they are easy to apply and remove, not irritating her skin while satisfying her the whole time.

I was pleasantly surprised with this gift set. Its perfect for any young girls too old for children's pretend makeup but too young for grown up makeup. Its perfect for my soon to be 8 year old.The colours are really nice and not too over the top. There's plenty of colours to choose from and the nail varnishes aren't too bright either. It comes with a nice studio style stand which is a nice quality for a child and places nicely on her desk. The presentation was really good so will be perfect for birthdays and Christmas presents. It also comes with an instruction book to help put the make up on correctly which is great for experimenting

My 11 year old daughter likes this set. Despite the design appealing to younger children, I wouldn't recommend it for younger children. The products are OK, but the value of the items individually (pound shop quality makeup really) is less than the cost of this whole set. But she likes it and is happy with it!

This is a 7plus toy which needs to end up on the face( not elsewhere) for me as there is a lot of various colour sticks and pieces to play and use with good colour charts-she used her own head as a girls world of My generation!

Bien qu'il soit proposé aux filles à partir de 7 ans, je pense qu'il est préférable de le destiner à une jeune fille de plus de 10 ans . Apprendre à se maquiller me parait très important pour maitriser cet art qui perdure depuis la nuit des temps. se maquiller mais aussi maquiller les autres! ce set contient toutes les bases pour débuter, il manque juste les bons conseils d'une adulte attentive . Un jeu qui j'en suis persuadée fera le bonheur d'une princesse!
