UNICORN GLOW HYDRATING FOUNDATION #2 LIGHT VANILLA Collagen Serum + Hyaluronic Acid + Ceramide Anti-Aging

I had tried a sample of the Unicorn Glow tinted moisturizer I got from Ipsy and hadn’t used until recently. I had decided to try their liquid foundation because I’m fed up with the high price of my similar version in Clinique. I am very pleased with product. Doesn’t smell funky, smooth going on and lasts all day.

So I was really excited to try this product, I bought the hydrating primer to pair with it. I was really disappointed in the length of coverage and the smell. The smell kind of smells like soap, but to me it smelled like an old lady perfume. It was strong enough that I smelled it during my work day after applying it at 6am. At 2:30p the coverage was patchy.

Unicorn Glow's Hydrating Foundation comes in an easy to dispense tube. The coverage is light to medium, and the formula doesn't feel heavy at all. This product lives up to the name - it's hydrating and will leave your skin glowing. I feel this brand appeals to younger makeup users, but as someone in their mid-30s I like the way my skin looks and feels after using this foundation. Even after 6 hours, the foundation remains glowy and fresh. The additional serum ingredients could easily remove a step or two from my skincare routine, and I really like that!

Their as nothing hydrating about this product! Yes, it’s lightweight and has no coverage whatsoever. You don’t t get any benefits at all. I DO NOT recommend this brand at all.

This arrives in a cute box. The box is sealed on the top but not the bottom. Now, pull out the tube. You will see there is a silver seal under the cap. Pull that off knowing that you have a fresh product. Nice!Now, you will quickly notice a stronger scent. That dissipates as you wear this. And, you will want to begin with a super hydrating primer because this can be very, very drying otherwise.This is a little on the heavy side and just a smidge too dark for a #2 Light Vanilla but it can still be worn for online meetings and such. And, it's pretty heavy. It kinda gives that sort of masky look that a lighter formula avoids.All told, it's a heavy makeup that could be good for problem skin and it needs a deeply hydrating primer to avoid feeling/look of being dried out.
