For what it is, 10" shelf depth to mount in a 19" rack, it's a good shelf. Wish I'd had more experience with racks before ordering - I would have passed. I bought the 10U open frame rack from Echogear and these just didn't go back far enough for my liking. Unfortunately, I bought these nearly 3 years ago and JUST got around to installing May 2025. I'll use as filler to sell the older Startech 4U rack. They'll fit great in it. Nothing wrong with the product, good build, just not a great fit for my needs as I've learned what my needs are.

The shelf requires some very easy assembly -- there are 4x screws/nuts that hold the 2x side rails to the floor of the shelf. All hardware and a wrench are provided; all you need is a Phillips-head screwdriver and a couple of minutes. The result looks fine. Cage nuts and matching screws are provided for rack mounting. The steel is fairly thick and will definitely hold things like WiFi routers and such. However, the shelf is not designed to hold humans or anything over a few pounds. I'm happy, and it feels like a good value.

Other reviews that say holes didn't line up or it's a pain to assemble are either outdated or incorrect. All the holes line up perfectly, and if you can't turn 8 little screws to assemble a shelf, you don't need to be in the same building as rackmount equipment. These shelves are rigid once assembled, feel like they can support at LEAST 20-30 lbs each if attached to the rack properly. They are an absolute steal at 34 dollars shipped.

I actually got two of these - one was a replacement. The first set came crumbled from the factory. I say from the factory because the box was in perfect shape but the sides were folded in in two different ways which means they didn't get folded together. That said, the metal at least was decent as it bent my pliers when I attempted to fix it, so ended up returning it. Now for the second set - it's perfectly fine. It fits perfectly, it's definitely hefty and can support a router and some modems, and would be perfect for some PoE injectors. It could definitely work as a support for a switch (as long as the switch was also attached to the rack, mind you) without real concern from me. I installed one at the top that I'll use for modems since I have a few fiber connections, and the other down below to hold the router an IoT devices. Should make life a bit easier and my rack a bit cleaner. If I didn't get the first set I'd have given this perfect stars, but after the first I'm a bit leery of the QA that they probably should have before shoving things into boxes to ship.

I used these to hold my fiber modem and 4-bay desktop NAS in a 19" rack. They're great for the price! They come with metric fasteners, so you'll need to supply your own if that's not what your rack uses.

These seem like they'd be flimsy but once you have them together they're surprisingly sturdy. They can be assembled with the shelf on the top or the bottom of the mounting points. The "vents" are good for zip tieing small electronics to that might otherwise get yanked off by their cords or bumped off the shelf. I use one to secure a cable modem, firewall appliance and small backup NAS in a rack. 20 cents worth of zip ties on these shelves and I don't have to worry about them any longer.

Works great. Mounts in a few orientations which I like. I like the lips up for my use case but can be mounted flat side up lips down, also front to back can be changed. Sturdy. The bracket screws are soft so be careful tightening but each one comes with an extra just in case. Comes with all hardware clips and bolts.

Contrairement à d'autres étagères, elles sont arrivées en très bon état (pas de patte pliée) Emballage bien fait, très pratique pour poser des box Ikea, Philips Hue, RaspberryPi ou mini PC. Cela laisse de la place derrière pour passer les câbles ou les bras ;)

Leicht zu montieren und für leichte Geräte gut geeignet. Eine USV würde ich eher nicht darauf platzieren aber das NAS und Backup tragen sie ohne Probleme

Easy to assemble rack shelves (although instructions for the caged nuts confused my colleague). Nice and sturdy.
