I have purchased 2 of these and also one for a friend of mine and would recommend them to anyone. They do exactly what they are supposed to do which is keep your collar up and look crisp underneath your jacket. I have been to many events where I've seen someone who clearly needed this as their collar was collapsing and looking sloppy. You can't even feel that you have it underneath your collar but it really makes it look clean when you do have it. I wear dress shirts and suits many times for work and this is one of the main things I use when I get dressed.

If you have a job where you need to look presentable with a button-down shirt, this seriously makes a difference. I won't say it's a must-have, but as soon as I got it, I've worn it every time I wear a collared shirt. You can't see it once it's in the collar, and I nearly always forget I have it on until the end of the day. So, yes - highly recommended, though I think it's a little pricey.

It did the job as advertised while it lasted. After three months of intermittent use, it snapped in half as I was taking it off. For a simple piece of plastic I paid $25 for, it really should be much sturdier. Would've rated it higher (4 or 5 star) had it been around $13. It came in a nicer/sturdier than average product box. Guessing the production cost of the packaging was as much as that of the product.UPDATE: I bumped the rating to 4 stars. David contacted me and offered to replace the item for free. I am a little more careful with the collar as I put it on and take it off, and so far I have not had any breakage. One minor complaint I have is that it can be a little big; my colleague noticed the clear plastic showing on the back of the neck. It will move around and at times be noticeable. With certain shirts I am constantly readjusting the collar so it doesn't show as much. Larger collars will cover the Perky collar better than smaller collars.

The material feels sturdy and well-made too.Only tiny thing is that it took a try or two to get it positioned right, but once you get the hang of it, it’s super easy. Overall, I’d say it’s totally worth it; surprisingly effective for such a simple item.

I bought two of these and this one is my favorite. It stays in place without popping out. I’m 220 lbs and muscular and my dress shirts never look right. They tend to spread open to far, but undoing the second button from the top looks sloppy with a crisp collar. This product fixes this issue and I can leave the top two buttons on my shirt open for a looser look. This look fits my build better. The collar support makes this possible as I can only leave the top button undone without it or it looks sloppy. It really gives it that crisp look. I also use the metal stays sold here on Amazon. I started using them first, then added this product. The plastic stays that come with most shirts fall out or wear out. The metal ones are nice and well worth it. Hope this helps someone.

The collar itself is great for its intended purpose. I actually had bought one but lost it so I immediately bought another one. However, the second one snapped when I was taking a shirt off. At this point spending another $30 dollars seems like too much. I wish the product was sturdier or maybe less expensive..

I received my Perky Collar two weeks ago. I've worn it to work almost everyday. It makes my shirts look like they came from the best dry cleaners ever. I was going to buy another product and even considered the "wingtip magnet" method, bt I'm so glad I went with Perky collar. I didn't have to make any modifications to my shirts. It's light weight and works great.To note, I did see a review when I was considering buying that talked about the overall size of the collar. The reviewer stated that the collar should come in multiple sizes. After getting mine, I would agree that the company would do well to provide one for men with larger necks. My neck is cloer to 15 and 1/2 and I think the collar would work well for men up to 17. However, if your neck is anything larger than that, I don't see the product working as well for you. It's a bit snug for me, but I do feel if I gained a little weight I'd be okay.So Perky Collar make a large size version for men with necks larger than 17", and you'd be doing yourself a great service.
