luvs diapers, size 1, 252 count

I only used Huggies with my older daughter and when I found out I was pregnant again I assumed I would only use Huggies again. For my shower I got multiple packs of diapers of various brands. I used the Luvs first because I assumed I wouldn’t like them… Well you know what happens when you assume. After using about 5 different brands I was surprised to find that the Luvs were my favorite. Here’s why I ‘Luv’ them:The good:-Protection: We’ve never had any leaks with the Luvs. With Huggies I would get at least one leak a day around the elastic leg area. On some of the Huggies the blue elastic area that fits snug against the leg would be stuck to the diaper, so I would have to pull it up. I think our leaks may be due to that. With these I can pretty well trust I won’t’ have leaks and that if I end up going longer between diaper changes his clothes and car seat will be safe from the icky diaper contents.-Smell: At first I didn’t like the baby powder smell of them, but it masks dirty diapers pretty well. Sometimes I go to smell him and can’t tell if he’s pooped or not because of the diaper scent. I have to remove his clothes to visually check.-Appearance: I know it’s shallow, but when I am changing a diaper multiple times a day I like it to be cute if possible. The monkey design is adorable, I like it even getter than the Sesame Street on Pampers and the Micky & Minnie on Huggies.-Price: I was shocked at how inexpensive these are with the Subscribe & Save option! They are cheaper than diapers anywhere else I’ve seen and now I don’t have to worry about ever running out.The bad:-Nothing!I am glad someone bought me a pack of Luvs so I didn’t dismiss them when choosing my long term diaper. I know every child is built different though, so what works for one may not work for another.

Someone gifted me a box of Luvs diapers at my baby shower, and I instantly fell in love with them. When I needed more, I couldn't find size 1 in stores, so I tried Huggies and then Pampers, but I didn't like either of them. Then, I found size 1 Luvs online and bought them because I remembered how much I loved them the first time. They're amazing! My little one is now 4 months old, and I'll keep using them as long as they have her size. They keep her clothes protected because they don't leak, even during long drives. Plus, she sleeps longer at night because she doesn't need changing as often. I adore these diapers—they were a fantastic purchase at a great price!

The perfect diaper I have found are Luvs - they're a lot cheaper and leaks are kept to a minimum. I used Luvs with my son and am now using them with my daughter. I've never known a baby to go through their childhood without a diaper explosion from time to time but I feel that happens so much less frequently when my babies are in Luvs. Also, I love the cute little monkeys! (There's no reason to pay more for a licensed cartoon character on a diaper!)I honestly don't know why people buy Huggies - they are awful diapers. They are expensive and leak everytime. (Huggies wipes on the otherhand are awesome)Pampers are good diapers but they are WAY too expensive.Everyone is complaining about the decline in quality of Luvs and the increase in price - that's the world we live in now. I don't doubt that these claims are true however I still find Luvs to be the best value/quality combo on the market. So for you new to the diaper world - or those thinking to change - give Luvs a chance.Oh and as for the lack of a wetness indicator - those really aren't needed! It's very obvious when you touch a diaper if it's wet and needs to be changed. You don't need a little blue line to tell you that!

At first I thought the diapers would leak but I realized my daughter was wearing the wrong size in clothes so thats shy they leaked ever since I put her in 0-3month clothes the diaperz were perfect. They get puffy when she goes which i love because I know to change her and because of the scent of the diapers I can smell when she goes #2 which I appreciate so I know to changer her. Also no diaper rash from these at all and they fit her nicely. Thanks Luvs good price and good quality

I buy Luvs for my older daughter because I think they work better than Huggies. My newborn was using pampers and Huggies because I like those brands for newborns. In an effort to save some money I ordered this huge box of Luvs and decided to give it a try. They definitely don't feel as luxurious as huggies or pampers but they get the job done. I didn't notice a huge difference on how well it hold up after huge blow-outs. I think the Luvs are thinner which makes it easier for baby to move around and also allow for a wider bottom. My only problem with them is that their new design (and this goes for larger sizes too) make me put the diapers on backward sometimes. I never had this problem with any other diaper or Luvs before they changed their design so I am not really sure what the problem is. Either way... at about $.10 a diaper, you can't really beat it.

I'm a mommy of 3. With my first (now 8), to be honest, I hated Luvs. Now, with my third, I was given Luvs so I gave them another shot. I'm so glad I did! They are very absorbent and cover up the pee smell. They fit my baby well and seem to be comfortable on him. He also doesn't have any leaks! Great diapers, great price!
