Pick Up Truck installation - brilliant
I bought this Blavkvue product to install on a new Toyota Hilux pickup . The installation was very successful , although I did have to buy a 10metre accessory cable as the rear camera was fitted inside the rear flip up glass of a hard top . Quality of recordings is excellent , and I’ve since upgraded the supplied 32GB card to 128 GB using reasonably priced ( not Blavkvue brand ) High Endurance cards from Amazon . The main 60fps front unit fits neatly below the on screen electronic sensors and behind the mirror , it’s invisible from the driving seat . One of the reasons I chose BlackVue was its discreet form , no distracting in cab screen . Set up using the built in WiFi and phone app is dead easy . I haven’t created a cloud account I’m just using the guest feature on the app . The micro SD cards play back faultlessly using a further BlackVue App on my desktop . I’m particularly impressed with the 30 fps rear camera which is mounted behind 80% tint black glass in the hardtop . The Sony Starvis system automatically compensates for the black glass and video is so clear you wouldn’t suspect the glass is tinted .The system has been hard wired for both ignition and park using piggy back fuse taps , but the supplied fuses have also been left in place for warranty purposes . All told nice and discreet , easy to view , with a host of programmable options that you’ll soon get familiar with .

Best dash cam on Earth!
I have bought the cheapest one 1080p 60fps, with 32gb sd storage.Super smooth video at a very good quality front and rear!Very good microphone, can even hear my gf moaning in the backgroundTook the 32gb sd storage straight into the bin, and got myself a 256gb SanDisk sd card, works perfectly.

It's expensive. But worth the money.
It's expensive but worth the money. Records on sd card. And your smart phone every time you go out. No worries of what is going on around you. Complete confidents every time you get into car, this is my second blackvue so far. They are brilliant

Excellent picture quality, awkward to connect to and access files.
It has great quality footage, but only if you download the files, the steaming footage is average, but that's OK because if you need evidence, you just download the high quality footage. What I don't like is how much power it draws, I've fitted the additional battery and it drains it within a day usually, although we don't drive much each day, just basically drop the child off at school and pick them up, so perhaps with longer runs to work and back it might hold the charge for longer. The other thing I don't like is that when you connect your phone to it via wifi and save it, every time you leave the house and get into your car with the ignition switched on, your phone will connect to it and so your phone will have no Wifi. I find this annoying because my phone connects to my cars stereo and provides it with satelite navigation as well as plays the music from the phone, but of course when I have no internet (due to it being connected to the camera) I can't do any of that. So I have to turn Wifi off on my phone every time I get in the car then often forget to turn it back on when I get back into the house.Accessing the footage on it using the phone app is slow, clunky and inconvenient. It would be much better to have one with a screen that you can just quickly whip off and have a look, but this is a bit of a pain to do via the app.Oh and sometimes my camera will crash and record no footage at all, which is not the best. Could be the choice of memory card I have in it though, but it's brand new and a decent brand from a reputable supplier so it should work fine.Probably not worth the expense for these cameras.I have the front and rear camera and it is handy to be able to flip the view from front to back if someone has been tailgating you and I like the forced record feature where I can just wave my hand next to the camera and it records footage from moments ago so that you can capture people doing rubbish stuff when they haven't necessarilly bumped you.

Quality and reliability
I have tried a number of dash cams in the past, including an earlier model of the Blackvue. All except the Blackvue malfunctioned eventually, which is why I opted for the 750x. I am very happy with it.

Overpriced and broke after 2 years
For the price you would expect it to work 100% of the time but it seemed to be patchy. It also completely died after 2 years. The app connection is patchy and frustrating and also would drain the battery even though I had it set to auto switch off if the battery falls under a level. I wouldn’t buy again - in their defence, all dashcams are disappointing.

Had a blackview for 7 years trouble free
Had my old 650 blackview for 7 years absolutely trouble free .but I can see the quality of camera has improved on this 750x plus blackview cameras are brilliant .left old one in last car I sold after being transferred through 3 cars in the last 7 years I'd believe new one will serve me as we'll
