If you’re looking for a good costume piece for set decoration or to have on someone for say a passion play this is the right one. The overlayed Damascus pattern on the stainless makes it look authentic. NOT SHARPENED AND DOESNT HAVE A POINT BUT CAN STILL INJURE IF YOURE NOT CAREFUL WITH IT.

This is a Gladius-Like sword, that resembles the Mainz Gladius (or the sword of Tiberius) that was found in Mainz, Germany and has been in the British Museum in London since 1866. However, don't expect historical value or accuracy. The scabbard contains a Chi Rho symbol, which is the Christian symbol of Byzantine Emperor Constantine's military standard. That was over three centuries after the Gladius was used, so there would be NO Gladius scabbard bearing the symbol of the Christianized Byzantine Emperors (though they still considered themselves the last, true Romans). Sorry for the drunk history lesson, but I'm guessing you're into that a little bit if you're interested in getting one of these swords. It's a nice decorative piece, made of stainless steel. It's not a full tang blade, as far as I can tell, so I would not expect it to be as anything other than a display piece. It comes dull, and someone stated that it can be sharpened. However, if it's not a full tang sword, then it has little practical uses. Buy it because it's beautiful.

People on here who say like “it’s not a sharp/real sword” well duh. It’s not meant to be used it’s just cool. I think it’s cool, and that’s all it really needed to be for me

I sharpened it with a sharping stone with my uncle, next to a fire as we talked about life. Cut myself a few times but that’s the dangers of a blade. It starts off as a thick piece of metal and the metal itself is fragile so don’t go trying to cut trees or metal. It can cut flesh easily if you did your job well just like any piece of metal. It has a full tang but most of the handle is plastic along with the scabbard. With pleather wrapping around it. And dyed “metal” bits all over. The sword has fake lines all over it that seem to be just a sticker. Otherwise it’s a Great Wall display or in my case a great looking gardening tool that I used to kill a few rats and annoying weeds

Sword is great, nothing crazy. But would have been nice to come with a sling. Luckily I made it fit with a bag strap. Also the sling rings are super cheap and two already broke.

Great design and feel. Just isn't sharpened (a good thing).

It’s a wall hanger , ( Rat tail ) threaded end off the sword, which means it’s not ( full tang ) , and that’s the only reason why 4 stars only, otherwise it’s beautiful design and in general, perfect for Halloween or cosplay .
