My son loved filling it up him self and the weight isn’t enough for you to panic but still monitor your child. The weight if dropped can still hurt them.

Wr got this set of kids weights for a little boy that is out our guy. He watch us weight lift daily. So we got him a set for his bday. His fav thing to do was lift them like the pros then drop them to floor. Toy handles the dropping by a 3yr old just fine. No water added at this time.

Dumbbells tend to come in twos, and the images and word “set” suggests this does too. But it’s just one.To be fair, if you scroll way down to a section of the product description, this is stated, but takes some careful investigation.The toy itself is fun and well constructed though: good buy, but who uses ONE dumbell?? Your toddler will not get ripped efficiently.

My son hasn’t gotten to play with this yet, it’s a Christmas present. Arrived quick and looks just as expected.

My son loves it. He wants to work out but I don't want to use real weights, he's only 4 years old. Weight is adjustable based on how much water you want to add and to which color to make it heavier or lighter for their comfort. Guess sand can be used as well but water is easier to fill and pour out when needed.

Great product for the little gymnast.

My tank of a one year old hurls this thing across the room on tile daily and the toy holds up great.
