H350 RGB Black

I got these to replace an aging (finally breaking) Logitech gaming headset that my wife got me in 2014. I am not a "wireless everything" kind of person because I am an engineer by trade and as much as wireless is convenient, it is not reliable in the same way as good old copper is. My search for a good wired headset that was as good for working as it is for gaming led me here. I was amazed at the price, so I watched a few internet videos and after seeing all the positive reviews I ordered these for myself. I cannot be happier if I tried. Love these - I finally found a headset I can wear for a full day and not be uncomfortable behind my ears. Some days, my work can be a 10-hour shift. Working as a systems engineer at an ISP comes with long days and many meetings that need a headset. I'm also a hobbyist gamer and programmer. While I'm working or gaming or coding, I either am listening to colleagues speak on a meeting, Doom or some other amazing Id Tech game, or I'm rocking out to heavy metal when I'm pounding out code. I wear thick heavy glasses, so the position of my cans is super important. Ear pads can make or break the deal for me. These sit so gracefully around my ears that I never feel any pinching, pressure or discomfort. I strongly recommend buying these. Also, there are a couple technical aspects that aren't documented that clearly so I figured I'd try and help anyone researching these by offering the truth as to what comes along with owning these. 1) The audio cable is NICE! Cloth-wrapped braided mesh. No cheap nylon jacket. 2) The audio cable is a combined 4-pole 3.5mm male. There is an included 1-male to 2-male breakout whip that comes along with it. This is best for desktop-class rigs with separate audio connectors. I stick with the standard combo plug as I spend most of my time on a desktop. 3) The business end of the cable has two connectors. The audio connector mentioned in #2, as well as a USB-A connector. The USB connector is NOT a composite device. There is no integrated DAC or any of that stuff included. This USB connector only provides a 5-volt rail to drive the RGB lighting and is entirely optional. The headset works fine on analog-only audio.

My original review is below, but I updated my rating to 5 stars. After I wrote the below review, someone from Redragon wrote to me through Amazon and said they would refund or replace the headphones. I chose replace and they arrived a few days later. Incredible customer service considering these are budget headphones. I've never received that kind of service with *much* more expensive electronics I've purchased in the past. My son also has a Redragon keyboard and mouse, so pretty excited to see they have such incredible customer service and will be looking to buy more from them in the future! ---------------------- Decent sound quality for the money. Works well and my son likes the lights. But, the headband broke after less than a year from normal use, as you can see in the picture. He didn't use them abnormally or negligently damage them, they just broke when he picked them up one day.

Thus far, this brand has been a great bang for your buck. This headset has a decent fit and microphone input, but it has sound quality that is equal to a much more expensive product. Although I originally had some issues with the microphone switch, I got in touch with their customer support and they sent a replacement headset very promptly. To clarify, all other products I have purchased from them have required zero help from customer support. I definitely recommend this purchase.

If you're looking to buy a cheap good quality mic then this is for you. As said in reviews on youtube it's perfect in sound quality and etc, but what they don't tell you is how to get it to work after buying it. When you plug it up into the ps4 with the usb it won't work and only the rgb lights will turn on. Took me a few minutes to find out that the green and red audio jack didn't work nor did the usb, I had to remove the red, green audio jack from another audio jack which it was connected to. So I had to take those two apart to get it to work, but then there was another problem...no one heard me talking on the mic. So I unplugged the audio jack that was connected to the green and red audio jack then I had to plug it back into the controller, but make sure I turn it to the right while plugging it back into the controller. Just to get the mic working I had to do all that. Also want to note that none of this was in the small manual book, but only what was what for the mic. Overall good mic, but no intructions on how to get it to work. Plus a heads up to everyone the usb is only for the rgb lights.

Disclaimer: These headphones are being used on a PC and my individual setup will likely differ from yours. However, in my case, this headset is less than ideal. Let's get the positive stuff out of the way first. While I can't speak to longevity, I feel that this is probably a very good headset at the price. It feels well made, looks clean and has good sound quality. I cannot vouch for the quality of the microphone (we'll get to that), but I'd guess that it performs adequately. In a world of over-priced consumer electronics, I feel that this is probably a solid purchase for most. Sadly, there is a design choice that was made that really gave me buyers remorse on this one. Now, the negatives: -RGB colors are fixed. Yes, this is a very minor issue and they do disclose this, but it's still kind of annoying. It's also worth noting that particularly on the white model, the RGB comes through as almost pastel. If you're very into color coordination, you may want to steer clear because the RGB is in a permanent rainbow glow and there's no way to change it. -It's not *that* comfortable. While I'm seeing a lot of reviews praising the comfort level of this item, I don't share this sentiment. The comfort level is on par with other budget gaming headsets I have used in the past. That's to say, it doesn't feel like my head is in a vice, but after prolonged usage, it definitely causes some discomfort on account of the pressure. For the record, I don't have a terribly large head, pretty average in fact, so this was disappointing. YMMV. -Lastly, the big one. The cable design. There are two cables that split off the main line. One is a USB and the other is a 3.5mm jack which then further splits into two more 3.5mm jacks. The USB controls the RGB only. That's it; there's no audio function tied to the USB. Both the microphone and headphones are controlled by the 3.5mm jacks. What does this mean? Well if you wanted to leave your computer speakers plugged into your motherboard and then have these headphones available to plug an play as needed, you might not be able to do that. With my setup, in order to fully utilize both the headset and microphone, I have to disconnect my speakers from the back of my rig entirely. I actually have a microphone and headphone input on the top of my case, but while the headphones work, the mic does not. If you are like me and think you have a similar setup or otherwise only want to use the headset on occasion, please consider my words. While this did not break the bank by any means, I'd rather have used the money I spent here to put towards something that might have better suited my needs.

My first set mic did not work but I contacted red dragons customer service and explained the the headphones mic was not working. I had tried everything but upon reaching out to them they sent another pair to me with no questions asked and the delivery was super fast. I highly recommend doing business with red dragon because they care about their product satisfactory for the consumer and promptly will make sure they resolve the issue. They sent me a properly working pair and words can't describe enough how excellent the customer service is. The headphones are comfortable and work good too. Thanks red dragon for everything. Highly recommend their products..

Ive had this brand of Red dragon for a long time. They have more colors on the website but for amazon they have them good cheap for great quality. I used to have a black pair that worked fine for around 2 years and I got a new pair (white). I love the detachable mic, usually when having cheap headphones with microphones they don't detach but this one does and its super useful. The cable is made of a fine hard leather so it will not cut or bend., very long too. + You get a bonus sticker. [Important bit] I do note to use it you have to download the software from the website in order to work with the mics quality and input volume quality. The pamphlet should explain when you open the box.

Re writing my review to a one star. For starters this did not work at all for me. I tried 2 different usb slots and the 2 plugs for mic and headphone separately and was unable to make these work. While it was connected I even went into windows settings AND control panel and no luck there either. Ended up finding a discord community where you could ask for help so I did. They told me it was plug and play and should just work. When I questioned further as to why it would not I was told "you got your answer so why are you still asking questions?". Managed to get a hold of support as well and all I got out of them was "it is plug and play and should work". I then asked what I could be missing since it was not working and heard nothing back. going to return this and get another brand. I will no longer be buying red dragon products.

Comfortable to wear all day - I use it for work all day and then for gaming in the evening. I frequently forget I'm even wearing it! the mike quality is top spec, and the audio is crystal. I love how long the cable is too as I can get up from my desk still on the phone and walk a short distance to grab something off a shelf whilst still being on hold or listening to a meeting. I now don't buy anything that isn't Redragon is I can help it - hubby loves his headset for the xbox and his uni zoom lectures, and we both have Redragon mice which are great
