Still use this paper years later.

For the price these pads are great value for money. The paper is a good thickness and I like that one side is smooth and one textured depending on your preferences. I am using the paper for cartoon watercolour illustrations that I sell and it is nicely up to the job. I don’t pre soak and stretch the paper but even if a full page illustration there is generally only a slight curve to the paper which is easily flattened. As a slight negative on the smooth side when using my alcohol based gel pens for the illustration part I find there is notably more bleed to the ink but it is within acceptable limits. The rough side shows no notable bleed. Will buy again happily.

Nice paper, good to paint on, a little buckling if you are working wet on wet. Definitely worth buying as good value for money and you won’t be scared to use it . Well packaged, easy to remove each page. It’s a nice light creamy colour, not too yellow.

This paper is currently out of stock and I'm devastated!! I bought a different brand and it doesn't match the quality of this one. This one is excellent. Excellent quality, very thick and durable, suitable for acrylic, Watercolour and holds up well to mixed media. I hope I will be able to purchase it again soon. Hopefully its only temporarily out of stock! 5 stars easily!

This paper is an absolute champion, it's incredibly tough and doesn't mind being worked on with multiple media. I've used it for charcoal, dip pen ink, multiple layers of alcohol markers, posca/acrylic pens, watercolour and gouache, and it works amazing with all of them. The paper is essentially two sided with the reverse being smoother and having less texture than the top/front side, However I have noticed that the underside/reverse of the paper pills/ruffles when you use either a polymer/rubber eraser or a kneaded eraser, so I tend to use the top/front side instead of the bottom. Lower gsm paper tends to buckle even if pre-soaked this paper is a work horse and doesn't bend easily even with multiple layers and soaks of watercolour/gouache. I highly recommend this paper and I'm sure it will be my go-to in the future.

Just starting watercolour painting, and wanted some reasonable paper to practice with. Very pleased with the results.

Nice paper. Struggles a bit with watercolour in that it deforms slightly, but I'm not an experienced watercolour artist so I've put it down to my potentially excessive appliance of water. I imagine gouache might go nicely with it, or watercolour tubes as opposed to the powder variant. Overall, nice texture and I enjoy painting in it regardless.
