What is the length of the laces?

Long enough to put a double bow in then tuck the ends back through the laces when cycling. I have worn these trekking in Nepal, walking out and cycling. I would recommend them. As I have said before, I never rely on waterproofing even on the higher end shoes/boots. To maintain waterproofing you need to keep it up.

Are the insoles removable ?

There should be, but they were missing in the pair I got. Beneath where the insole should be there is a stitched sock type liner that cannot be removed but can bunch up. Not an issue if you add your own insole.
