Modern White Painted Monkey Design Table Lamp - Complete with a 6w LED Filament Globe Bulb [2700K Warm White]

I love the Seletti lamps but this one really caught my eye as a similar style but quirky too! I bought a larger bulb and i really like it oversized. It smells slightly strange - I had it next to my bed and it smelled very slightly like stale cat wee in the room for a while but that eventually went away. I suspect it’s the smell of the resin. I mean, I don’t have a cat and I did puzzle about it for a while and if you get close and give the monkey a whiff he doesn’t smell brilliant, but as a decorative lamp he’s excellent and tbh he smells better than my chihuahuas do.

This is one of my most favourite things I’ve ever bought.He isn’t perfect (but then who is!?) I’ve detailed his imperfections in my images so you can see for yourself. After unpacking a fleck of gold fell off him that I’ve (badly) glued back into place otherwise you could see white. The finish is a little rough but you don’t really notice it.My sister tried to convince me he’d come alive at night but as yet he’s not moved (that I know of).He’s proudly positioned in my lounge that I see him everyday and despite his minor flaws I’ve no hesitation in recommending him to others!

I am so in love with this lamp, classy and quirky, a real talking point. It’s very well made and the detailing is fab. He’s taken pride of place at the side of our TV. The filament globe bulb I ordered with him is very bright which is great for me but may not be everyone’s cup of tea. George (the monkey lamp) Arrived very well packaged and quickly. If you’re thinking about ordering him go ahead, Georgey boy will not disappoint 💕

I love my new monkey lamp. He gets a lovely reaction from people who see him - one or 2 say it's not their taste, but those are people I am happy to not have similar taste to ;0)The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the bulb at 6w was brighter than the sun!! For a lamp with no shade it's impossible to look at with the original bulb. I bought a 2w bulb (which is still exceedingly bright), in a similar style to the one that came with the lamp, but not as large, which is a shame. I had paid £9 extra for the original bulb, then another £8 for the replacement bulb - and now have a redundant huge 6w LED bulb. In all, I am really pleased with this item and would recommend. I should also mention that it was packaged really well, and would imagine that they all arrive in good condition due to the excellent packaging.

I absolutely LOVE this Monkey Lamp. I chose metallic gold for the sitting room in a show home that we designed. Initially, people were sceptical that it would look a bit tacky, but I think it the right context it looks wonderful. Of course it gives off a lovely warm, atmospheric light too. Would definitely recommend if you like something a bit quirky!

Totally in love with this lamp!! It is everything I wanted for my home! I didn’t expect to receive it so quickly too. Ordered it on the Friday evening (quoted delivery date 20-24th and that was fine) received this lamp by the Sunday! It also looks great with my other bulb too. A lovely addition to my bedroom. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality. First one was damaged in transit but was replaced without a hassle. I went for the filament globe bulb which looks great, it’s very bright though due to the obvious design issue (depending on your requirements) with not having a lampshade. I’m really happy I made this purchase.

I am absolutely thrilled with my monkey boy,love him so much x delivery was exceptionally fast and my o my was the packaging so good. Haven’t decided on his name yet,but will soon come up with one no doubt ! The only person in the household that doesn’t like him is our cockatiel Jack who turned his back on him the moment he saw him, jealousy I think.I love anything quirky and this boy certainly fits the bill,would highly recommend,especially at this price,well done everyone !!!!
