Vive Le Color! Arabia (Adult Coloring Book): Color In; De-stress (72 Tear-out Pages)

I bought this book once, I fell in love with it! Perfect size to carry around. I will pick out a few colored pencils and bring this book with me anywhere. I really with the other books were not out of print. Please bring them back!!!

Wow, the designs in this coloring book are amazing. Some are very intricate and would require fine line markers or gel pens. Others are not as intricate and colored pencils would work well. Has a good mix of designs that would satisfy anyone in my opinion. The pages are thick and tear out if you want them to. There has been no bleed through when I use my markers. The designs are one sided as well. Very, very impressed with this coloring book.

Cons: A lot of the patterns have pretty wide open spaces that I wish were filled in with more detail. There are also several patterns that are very similar, and a few have weird lines that don't look like they're supposed to be there. The paper doesn't readily absorb so strokes are visible and it gets kind of pilled when using fineliners. Pros: The patterns that are more detailed are great and the paper is nice and thick. It's kind of nice having smaller detailed coloring pages that don't feel as overwhelming as some of the larger coloring books I've bought. I like this series in general and plan on buying more. I think permanent markers might work better with the larger patterns and will have to try that.

At first glance, I really liked the patterns in this book. After completing a number of the pages, I noticed that a number of the patterns are simply the same pattern but resized. So I will have already done that same pattern, but it will be enlarged in my version and shrunk or shifted slightly on another page. I was expecting a unique design for every page and discovering that pages aren't unique made me unhappy. I bought this as something to do on my trip to Germany from Boston MA, and then later I used them as decoration for my dorm room for the semester I was in Germany. I guess if you just want something to color in order to calm down or to waste some time, the repeated patterns are fine. But even for me, where this was meant as a distraction, I lost interest in the pages once I started having to repeat patterns.

I actually bought one for my daughter and loved the pictures so I bought another for myself. The paper is thick and of good quality. We use gel pens and there is no bleeding through the paper. Love the designs and will be purchasing more of this brand!

I returned it did not like it at all

Pretty designs, sufficiently complex to be absorbing. The paper is high quality and thick, and markers don't bleed through. The pages come out easily for display or whatever. I wanted to try the adult coloring book craze, and these are a reasonably interesting way to indulge that hobby.

Just love it...at first I was a little shocked at the size of the book itself...but after thumbing through the pictures and the quality of the paper and print, especially the print, there are NO heavy black lines to interfer with the flow of colors or to allow another color to blend...and the size once again is actually perfect, I travel a lot and these are perfect for long flights or overlays at airports without taking up any space...
