Well written, comprehensive, excellent photographs. A quality effort throughout.

I learned so much from this book. It tells like a story the history of the parks and people who conceived and brought them about. It imparts a deep sense of appreciation for what it is, why it is so special, beyond the pure enjoyment of it in daily life -- something Minneapolis residents innately appreciate already.
