This Christmas my crew all received the portable helicopters and planes. Talk about a blast. Works well when my iPhone recognizes it but other times it does not. Have taken it to the beach and let it sit there while we listen to music on my phone. Not a battery product so you need sun for it to work. Cool concept but can be quirky at times when your phone might not recognize the device. Good quality and keep it in our beach bag.

Looks great. Indicator light works great. Totally waterproof. But just totally inadequate output. In bright sun, takes >half a day to charge a partially discharged iphone. Won't charge my accessory battery at all. Just not enough mAh's. Useless.

I used this recently on a pack packing trip to keep my phone charged. As long as there was full sun and no clouds, no problem. However, when I got into the trees or had any cloud cover what so ever, the charger could not keep up and my phone went dead. If you absolutely need to keep something charged, a battery pack is probably a better option.

appears sleek and handy but product just doesn't work. it prompts the device i.e. smartphone to indicate that it is charging. however, not even a tiny bit of charge was produced for the device after hours of continuous exposure to the full sun. needs more research work on it to come up with a better product

So I live out of my 1987 GMC Vandura and was in need of a cheap way to keep my phone and my baofeng uv-5r radio charged. Well this panel was recommended on Facebook by the Admin for a vandwelling group. So I figured it's $30, may as well try it. Well in full sun it's as fast as a house outlet when it comes to charging my phone, battery packs, and radio. Well today I bought a small fan from family dollar that can take AA batteries or be pulged into a USB port. This panel has a USB port.... It ran a small 12V fan in full sun. If you are a vandweller or a survivalist I recommend this solar panel.
