Mehron Makeup Colorset Setting Powder - WHITE Tinted Setting Powder

I have tried and tried to find a setting powder that goes on easily, isn't chalky, lasts all day and helps control shine. I've bought everything I can think of, including the much talked about Makeup Forever hi-def. Most everything I've tried are all quite expensive and good, but there always tends to be one or two things I don't love about it. I've stuck with the Makeup Forever for a couple of years, as I need a good setting powder especially when I'm modeling. It's worked fine, but I do need to touch up halfway through a photo shoot. I came across the Mehron ultrafine setting powder, read the reviews, was a bit skeptical because the price is so low, but I loved that it also has an element that helps control sweat! There are more times I can think of that I've been shooting outside in the summer heat, or in a very hot studio under the lights and I start to perspire a bit on my face. As soon as I got it, I tried it on my face to see the texture, if it was truly translucent and met the other reviews I'd read about it. I immediately loved it, and use it every day I wear makeup, even on days where I just wear a BB cream to set it . My makeup stays all day, doesn't budge even with a really creamy foundation or BB cream, and once tested on a photo shoot, I was HOOKED! Not only did it perfectly set my makeup, it really is translucent..it will not lighten the color of foundation, I didn't need a single touch up, and under the hot studio lights I stayed nice and shine free. If you're even on the fence about buying this, just do it. You will not be disappointed! I've also got many of my makeup artist friends to switch from everything they've ever used. This is a MUST have in your beauty routine!

Package came in time for my Spirit Day at work: Disney Day, as I used it to lightly powdered my blue face to portrait "Sadness" from Inside Out. I love this setting powder!! The process: after I applied moisturizer, I primed my face heavily with primer first, you can use any face primer. Then wet the face paint and started to paint my face gradually. I used the colour Sky from Mehron. Wait a few minutes to dry before reapplying. Then I applied this setting powder from Mehron. I added my own eyeshadow, blush and blue lipstick. Last I sprayed my face with the setting spray, both the store-bought and the one I also got from Mehron, to prevent staining or transferring. When I touched my face lightly, it did not transfer. I got so many compliments from lots of coworkers. What a day!! Afterwards, to remove it I just used makeup remover and it wiped out easily. The colour did transfer a bit to my sweater around neck just a bit since I didn't set with setting powder or use setting spray too much in that area, but it's easily removed after a wash. Love this product and will definitely use it again for either cosplay at events or spirit day at work ❤️.

The first container I bought had a broken seal, so I sent it back and got another. Now about the actual makeup-- it's not bad for the amount and size. I think any generic translucent powder would've worked just as fine with other mehron products. I bought the whole thing-- toner, clown white foundation, setting powder, and setting spray because I was anxious to mix products (with the exception of my color palette because I spent too much already🤡). I will say, I enjoyed the smell of the setting powder. It smells like my setting powder from Anastasia Beverly Hills. It has that grandma/ baby powder scent that is nostalgic to me. If you don't like that smell, perhaps this product isn't for you. Now, if you want this powder to work, you need a LOT of it, and you need to let that stuff SIT. I didn't have much time, but I allowed the powder to sit on my face for about 4-5 minutes. So when I gently dusted it off, it left a nice matte finish. The first time I used it, I didn't let it sit and I won't do that again lol. For application I ended up using toilet paper to pack it on, because it worked better for heavier application than an actual powder brush did. And although it did a great job with initial makeup holding, it definitely needs to reapplied throughout the day to keep your makeup from transferring or wiping off (for clown makeup at least). When I applied the powder, I intended to cover every part of my face that usually becomes greasy throughout the day, but I neglected the nose crease area which I will take note to powder in the future. I will note, however, I have always had issues with foundation creasing on my eyelids, and around the eyes/cheeks where my skin creases as I smile-- so I generously applied setting powder and it didn't crease at all! I was very happy with how it held throughout the workday. FYI: the first few pictures were taken in the morning after the makeup was applied, and the last few were taken at the end of the day.

Excellent product. Worth purchasing.

This does the trick. It can get everywhere if you don't have a towel down. Kept my queen Amidala makeup flawless especially on hot summer days at the convention

I didnt read how small this was. Maybelline worked just as well.

I really recommend mayron products, I did purchase this setting powder along with the setting spray because my husband's costume makeup was literally red and it was all over his bald head and face and he sweats like crazy, I was so worried that it was going to be a transfer problem all night long. We use the red powder pigment and a moistened brush to apply all over, then hit it with the setting powder and then setting spray. When I tell you this stayed on all night no transfer at all, definitely costume quality and highly recommend. I definitely comes with a lot of product for future uses so hopefully it keeps to next year

Great product! This product was perfect for my Widowmaker cosplay- after blending two types of TAG body paint and letting it dry I applied this setting powder. I would HIGHLY recommend! I plan to use this paint/spray/powder again for my next convention. It took about two hours to apply both front and back paint/spray/powder, as it was 3/4 coats of painting used to get the right shade of blue/purple. Definitely worth the time and money. I wore this paint for the entire day/night and through a photo shoot and on stage it held up great! There was minimal smudging, but it was only where my hand rested against my chest area- and it was easy to touch up in between the convention and the photo shoot! If you're into cosplay, this is the right product for you! Note: I paired this TAG Body paint and the Barrier Spray too by Mehron.

Brilliant stuff definitely the best I’ve used. Does the job and covers very well. A pot goes a long wait so well worth it.

This is an amazing item and I can’t believe I have only just discovered it. I have always had oily skin and my dewy complexion always turns into a greasy landslide in the afternoon. I have tried numerous top of the range products, mattifying powders and setting sprays which have only helped for a few hours. This is a game changer. I apply as the last product on my face and although it’s quite pale, it soon blends in with your shade and it’s nice and dewy so doesn’t make your make up look powdery. Don’t apply a setting spray afterwards as I found it washed it off. I also tried the other items in the range - they do a priming solution and setting spray but found these didn’t add anything and the powder works fantastic on its own. It’s not a massive pot but so what - it’s not small either. A bigger pot would cost a lot more and it gives you the chance to try it without spending a fortune. It’s worth it’s weight in gold and I will buy another in reserve.
