Rose Water - 10 Skin Benefits!
I buy rose water to use as a facial toner / spritz. It smells divine but the scent doesn't last long so I can't use it for a lingering fragrance. I pour Cortas Rose Water into a 2 oz spray bottle and add several drops of Organic Rosehip Oil, shake it well and spray the mixture on my face & neck after cleansing. The mixture must be shaken before EACH use since oil & water do not mix (: I've listed some of the skin benefits of rose water and with the added Rosehip Oil; it's even more effective in the following skin benefits:1. Rosewater helps to maintain your skin's pH balance.2. It helps fight acne, dermatitis and eczema.3. Rose water helps to hydrate, revitalize, moisturize, and smooth out the skin.4. It helps to heal scars, cuts and wounds.5. Rose water calms the skin to help ease any stress and anxiety.6. It helps tone the skin, while offering anti-bacterial properties.7. The antioxidant properties of rose water help to strengthen skin cells along with regenerating skin tissues.18. The nourishing and moisturizing properties of rose water help to recover the quality of hair.9. Rose water helps to treat mild scalp inflammations and dandruff that is caused by fungal infections.10. It also helps to revitalize aging skin while keeping fine lines and wrinkles at bay.A 17 oz bottle of Cortas Rose Water can be purchased for about $6 at local markets that stock it but it must be purchased online at a much higher price + a high shipping charge if you can't find it locally. The cheapest I've found it online is on Amazon: (4) 10 oz bottles @ $21 + $10 shipping BUT I wait until I need a couple of other Amazon items (additional $14) in order to take advantage of the free shipping over $35!

Great product, and a great deal
Great product, and a great deal. I use rosewater as a facial toner and cleanser. If you buy cosmetic grade rosewater, it is a lot more expensive – the cheapest I have seen on Amazon is $.75/oz (with most ranging from $2-$5/oz). This only comes out to about $.50/oz, and it is food grade, plus not diluted with glycerin and other additives. Did you know that food grade products are actually subject to higher FDA standards for purification then cosmetic grade? Cosmetic grade should not be confused with pharmaceutical grade, which is subject to strict FDA regulations; cosmetic grade products can actually contain a high percentage of bacteria. I have tried looking for rosewater at my local international supermarkets and cannot find it. ShopRite near me, which has FOUR full aislesof international/ethnic specialty foods, doesn't carry it. So it is very convenient to get this online and shipped for free if you have Prime. I didn't have the problems that previous people have complained about with leaking bottles – my bottles were really well packaged, tightly in bubble wrap and a padded box. I plan to refill my rosewater and witch hazel toner bottle with this, since it has a better applicator and screw top cap. This rose water smells just as sweet and has been working well on my skin. Since I started using rosewater as a toner, I have noticed all my adult acne has gone away and my skin looks brighter and firmer. I don't have a very complicated nighttime routine, but this is one indispensable part of it.

ABSOLUTELY the ONLY Rose Water I will ever buy again
iagain I read some complaint about the taste being "soapy", but I know hat that is about. This rose water I not a syrup. it is not sweetened, and if you plan to flavor drinks with it, you only need about 1/8th of a teaspoon to 8 ounces of liquid.I use it in plain sparkling water with about 6 drops of clear liquid 100% stevia and I feel transported back to my Mother's amazing rose lemon aid, made with an netiquette rose we never could find the name of. (it was eventually stolen by a shifty gardener on Bainbridge Island, WA. The kind of woman who teaches classes in how to take care of roses at her home, charging people to then do her garden work for her)! This Rose Water is pungent, very strong, and the most delicious I could hope for. I have already bought a 4 pack for myself, for a gift, and this is the brand I am sticking with! I have lso added a tiny bit to the fresh goatmilk I buy locally, and with a few drops of stevia, I feel like a Queen.Just be sure not to use too much at a time!
