Pagani Design 007-Model Automatic Diving Watches for Men

What a great surprise. This was my first PD and maybe I didn’t expect much, but the quality is actually excellent. It’s a solid build, and a truly worthy watch. Sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel insert, great fit & finish on the case and a good old NH-35 Japanese workhorse movement. Winding is crisp. Crown isn’t fiddly. Alignment is good. Lume is very good. Once you fold the sides of the rubber strap to get a squeeze-fit into the deployant clasp it’s super comfortable to wear and looks great with the watch. The only bad design move was not to copy the Omega and leave off the date window. The bright white of the window, normally not an issue if the numbers on the bezel are also white, sticks out like a sore thumb against the muted tones of the bezel numerals and indices. No matter, this is first watch I’ve bought in a long time that made me smile. Well worth the modest sum.

I was hesitant to buy this watch. It is homage to the Omega Seamaster 007 No Time To Die watch, which costs more than 84X the price of this Pagani Design watch, which it looks very much like. I own a 2000 Rolex GMT-II, a 1952 Rolex 6084, a 1963 Omega Seamaster, 1958 Omega 610, 6 vintage Seikos including a recent SKX-009 Japan, several collectible G-Shocks including 1st and current edition MudMasters, and an assortment of others. So I knew what this was and was not. What it is a great value watch that looks great! The NH35 keeps great time. The watch looks oh so close to the Omega. The hour markers could color match the bezel better, but they are close. The date window is black number on white, which could be eliminated altogether for a better look at a manufacturing lower cost. The finish is good. For most people, they won't know. Most people don't even know what the Omega version is, so they won't see this is a riff on it. I liked the look, didn't want to spend 8K on it, and wanted a knockaround weekend watch I would not feel guilty about and this it it. Like one of the other reviewers said, "Just buy it!"

I don’t normally write reviews but I wanted to share my views on this watch. For the money this is a great watch. It looks fantastic and it has a Myota movement under the hood. I looked at a genuine Omega NTTD Speedmaster in person yesterday and this watch looks very good next to the real thing. There are a couple of cons however. These may not be present on every example so take it for what it’s worth. The bezel is loose. It has almost 3 minutes of play back and forth and you can hear a click when you tap the top of the bezel. I was hoping for a tight bezel like my Seiko but this isn’t that nice of a watch. Also it’s running about 15 seconds fast per day. I haven’t had it on a timegrapher so this is slightly anecdotal. I haven’t regulated the watch either but just bear in mind this watch probably had minimal adjustment in the factory so 15 seconds isn’t horrible. It’s a cheap watch. All in all I like the watch a lot. The flaws are acceptable at this price. The real thing is $8000 so if you want perfection, buy the Omega.

Best 007 clone ever! It’s a wonderful watch easily worth the price. I put a James Bond homage band on it I found on amazon and you can’t tell it’s not a 11,000$ omega. It’s a very fun, comfortable watch that works very well. The quality far outpaces the expense.

It just looks and feels very good. It came running a hair slow, but I corrected it and now runs 10 seconds a day fast, which is perfectly acceptable since you can hack (stop the watch) to synch it with your phone if you need that much accuracy. Bezel action is pretty good but not perfect (best I had is my mako xl) the lume is very good, the daytime readability is very good too. I got the one with the rubber deployant strap, and it feels and looks amazing. It also comes with a nylon strap but I haven't bothered with it yet. It took only 3 weeks to arrive to the U.S. Tracking of the package was not straightforward, yet it arrived without problems. I am very happy with the whole product but ... Next time I would just pay double for a microbrand.

Terrible A birthday gift for my husband. The band itself started to shred within the first week, thread here, thread there - questionable, but not a deal breaker. The deal breaker came shortly after. It's a "Diver's Watch" but it is showing signs of condensation as the lens is fogged from only wearing while showering not ever actual diving. If it cant take a shower surely it isn't fit for diving. The watch does have a 1 year warranty..... on the internal works only. Does not cover "water damage". Go figure. Return window has closed. Looks like we've been robbed for $100. Don't waste your money.

This is a very nice looking watch, and is a nice value if you receive a good copy. The finish, band and clasp are nice, and a NATO strap was also in the box. Unfortunately, the watch I received had several issues. First, the unidirectional bezel was loose and had a lot of side-play. Oddly, the bezel was also difficult to rotate. The calibre (movement/mechanism) was not the touted Seiko NH35A, but instead a S Epson YN55A, which has fewer jewels and in my opinion is a lesser-quality movement. When tested on my Timegrapher, it was reasonably accurate and decently calibrated, but it could never achieve more than 260 degrees of amplitude at full wind, which very quickly dropped to 224 degrees. The amplitude should reach 300+/- degrees, and drop very slowly. This indicates a bad mainspring, the mechanism is not lubricated correctly, not assembled properly, or there are ill-fitting parts. Finally, the crown was extremely overtightened and needed to be loosened with a jeweler’s pliers. This is bad for the threads, the o-rings, and water resistance. Other buyers might not notice or care about these issues, but I did. I returned it for a refund and ordered another one from another source. Hopefully my luck will improve.

As other reviewers have stated, this is a great watch at a great price. I do own several high end original watches. I can’t comment on long term use / quality but initial quality and presentation are excellent. Product comes in a nice presentation box and came with two bands. The weight of the watch and quality of materials seems quite good. The visual copy of the OMEGA is very good with the only knock maybe being the accent color is not quite burnt orange or bronze but only up close does that really become apparent. Watch seems to keep good time and illuminates well at night. Again can’t speak to long term durability but the watch initially is a complete winner.
