Fort Dodge Animal Nolvadent Oral Cleansing Solution Bottle, 8-Ounce

My poodle mix started losing teeth after 10 years old. Had an abscess and had to have a painful extraction of tooth with large roots. Read the reviews and started to use this on a tooth brush dipped in a small amount of Nolvadent At first I smear on his favorite toothpaste on brush then dip brush in solution or sometimes I combine Oratene on Brush; every day does the trick in getting rid of tartar. He is now 13 years old and the teeth he has left; Molars top and bottom still works fine for his favorite chew sticks and rawhide. Update July 2019 still using and is working great. His gums get a little inflamed if I miss days of treating; but gets better when I start treating daily again.

I used Nolvadent years ago when I had a Bichon. After adopting my little Bolo, another small dog, I tried finding Nolvadent in pet stores and coud not find it. Unbelievable as it is such an effective product and much easier than trying to brush her teeth. I cut small squares of terry cloth and saturate it in Nolvadent and gently rub it over her teeth reaching all the way to the back. It's an excellent product. I was grateful I could find it on line.

I have used this product for my dog's teeth for several years and it helps delay the need for dental cleaning. I use it on a toothbrush or dental sponge. I usually bought the 4 oz. but the last few times I noticed the 8 oz. was a better value price-wise. The 8 oz. bottle usually lasts about 6 months. The last bottle I bought 6 months ago had an expiration date of February 2023 so that would be after I finished the bottle. I just reordered and the expiration date is also February 2023 which is only a little over 3 months from now. I will be using an expired product before it runs out. This is an expensive product, $52. I shouldn't be sent a bottle that is soon to expire. I will NOT buy from this seller again and will buy the 4 oz. which has a different seller. Disappointed.

Years ago, when I worked in a vet clinic, my veterinarian kept this product in stock for our clients, and I started using it on my dog's teeth.I still use it regularly, and it really does make a difference. I know many people recommend using a tooth brush, but what my dog will tolerate is a gauze 4x4, so that is what I use. His teeth are in good shape. I'm very happy with this product.

My vet originally used this product on my little ones and said that this was really good for the tartar buildup. I started regularly using this on my babies this year, trying to be a little bit more routine about it. I like it and feel that it is helping their teeth.

I bought this rinse for my 13 year old jack russell and 6 year aussie. I brush their teeth with the poultry tooth paste and an oral b professional brush(one of my old handles that doesn't hold a great charge). Then I put a small amount of Nolvadent on the brush and brush the teeth, they love it. It makes their breath smell great and keeps the tartar down.

This item was a bit pricey. By he time I received the item my pup had made her transition.I am disappointed tremendously that there is not a refund available. I purchased a similar product and it was refundable?

Good product cleans dogs teeth. Dog breath is much better.
