Very useful and handy!
I play in several bands, alto and tenor saxophones. For tuning before rehearsals, in the noise of all buddies talking and warming up, this is the thing to have. It clips on to the neck of my horns, so I can see very easily how I'm tuned (I try to use my ear, but just for when it's too noisy, this is better). All my band buddies borrow it to tune their horns, too: trumpets, bones, tubas, and so on! The device can swivel, so one can always postition it in the best viewing angle.The only thing I have a hard time remembering is what way the indicator says 'sharp' and 'flat', to the left or right... it would probably be feasable to just display those words, instead of the little 1, 2, or 3 arrows on either side! (now that's where my ears come in handy, no pun intended, lol).All in all, I think it is definitely worth its money!

Good tuner, poor metronome
This works very well as a tuner for basically any instrument but as a metronome it's kind of crap. The beeping is not loud enough to be heard over anything and the light isn't bright enough to use as a good visual cue. Somewhat disappointed in this. Again, good tuner though.

Better for strings than wind instruments
I bought this product as a tuner for my Trumpet. It I believe is better for a stringed instrument. So sensitive near impossible to get it to stop when in tune.

Highly recommended!
My son uses this for his trombone. After using this he went from 10th chair to 2nd. Good quality and the display is easy to see. If the note is hit correctly the display turns from red to green.

Defective tuner but replacement is great
The original tuner was missing a clip that holds the battery in place and completes the electrical circuit. The tuner was returned for a refund as Amazon does not exchange this item with the supplier.I ordered another one from a different supplier and it is working great. Easy to use, accurate and works on multiple instruments for tuning without the need to transpose between low brass and saxes. No problems with this one and recommend it to new and older players.

As a beginner this is a great instrument for tuning and also for making sure I"m playing the correct notes.I'm a new saxophone player and teaching myself how to play the sax and the centerpitch is great.

I know it`s supposed to be a tuner the blinking between green and redcan get to you though. I keep it for spare parts.
