I didn't really know what to expect from this light but I have been pleasantly surprised by how good it is and u get 2 for the price. It's small enough to fit in a normal size bulb box. I thought it was bigger somehow but I've made that mistake before. Really bright light for my garage/workshop. U can direct light to other areas of the place too.Now as for longevity? I cannot say right now but like I said u get 2 in the pack so I will come back on and let everybody know how long it lasted.The only thing I wasn't happy with was how Amazon packaged the bulbs. A miserly paper bag was all that surrounded it. I don't get that when this is a very fragile abject.I'm saying this hoping this changes for next customers..Other than that I'm well pleased with my purchase. I might try some of the others in the range now ttk

Looked great when first put them up. Not as bright as I need, but better than what I had before in garage. However, after 3 days one of them failed and in the process tripped the main fuse for the garage and the associated fuse switch in the house board. I gave feedback to supplier, in case it was simply a faulty item and they would send me a replacement, but not heard back from them. They still have a chance to redeem themselves but I will be on the look out for a better lighting solution in the garage.

I was more than impressed with these lights. To be honest I wasn't holding out for anything great from them, but was I wrong! I have them in our boiler /store house and they are far better at lighting all the areas than any other type of bulb. The ability to fold up the wings to direct the light is amazing. No flickering, just steady white light. These are so good I am going around the house looking for places where I can use them.

These are definitely as bright as people are saying. I bought a pair for my landing, as the bottom of the stairs stayed pretty dark with regular bulbs.They. Are. VERY. Bright!I'd warn against getting one of these if you haven't got (or don't intend to get) lightshades with an underneath diffuser of some sort. They also might not be appropriate for shades which are really small as they take up more room and in different places from conventional bulbs.EDIT: However, after only a year and a half, the first fizzled and died. (Over) estimating about 1hr of use per day, that's only 540 hours of use. Even a filament bulb should last about double that. The typical LED bulb should apparently last around 100 times that!I'll see how well the other light lasts; but if it's only another year or two I'll switch back to a 'normal' LED bulb instead.

Seems ok, some of the photos are a bit misleading. Ok so it measures up to the dimensions advertised but some of the lamps in the photos are a lot bigger than the mini lamp that is supplied. and it is a mini lamp as it states on the box.

The cold white light is personal taste (I prefer warm white but was not available when I ordered one) and it’s quite compact with the wings folded to 90 degrees. Good amount of light, probably around 100w old incandescent bulb level. Does the job at a reasonable price, best for work areas eg garage/loft with a bayonet type light fitting.

It appears from the Q&A's that a lot of buyers have had the same issue as me, early failures. The seller seems to not honour the 2 year warranty detailed in the description. They state 1 year only and will not provide contact details for replacement.

Bought simular for garage 2 years ago, still going strong and always on, but taken a few hits.So these looked like good replacements,, almost half the size of what i all ready use,, but no worries the amount of illumination seems almost the same and the unit looks a lot tidier. And being low wattage,, great for Garage Workshop. (Upps seems today units stopped working and just out of Guarantee, no warning, possibly a surge, old ones are still working), that's tech for you.
