Smells really good
I cant Really compare this to anything since this is my first time buying this particular oil. It really smells great. I read It could be helpful for people with fibromyalgia, which is why I purchased It. So far I find that the scent is pleasing when mixed with 3 drops frankincense, 2 drops vetiver, 2 drops Copaiba and 2 drops of cedar wood in a diffuser. It’s a scent I definitely prefer diluted and blended with others. I read That putting some diluted vetiver under the big toes and soles of the feet could potentially be helpful for fibromyalgia sufferers , so I’ve been trying that out . It does seem to help ever so slightly and the scent solo is slowly growing on me more and more each time . But when it comes to things for fibromyalgia, I’ve found that, nothing like this is really a eureka cure , as much as it is more of a supplemental support therapy. In other words , it can help but for me it has to be part of a bigger plan. I do A lot of other things, nootropics, CoQ10, Sam-e, vitamins d and b, topical DMSO, CBD, physical therapy, yoga, medication, and together they help. But everyone is different so what works for some may not work for everyone. Overall I’m happy with the quality of this oil, and it does seem to fit in nicely with all my other treatments, adding some effect.

"Happy Smelling"
This essential oil is great, but I believe it has a light blend, a light but deep woodsy note fragrance. Vetiver is thick naturally so it usually is blended so that it can come out of the hole of the bottle easily. This oil is great for diffusion in aromatherapy humidifiers. It's great for relaxation, and emotional stress. I first add a drop of coconut oil, almond or light olive oil to protect my skin because it's sensitive and the oil when pure can irritate the skin, then I add the essential oil just a few drops in my hands, rub them together and cupping my hands around my nose, take five deep breaths in through my nose and out slowly and instantly I am relaxed and feeling stress-free. Please note for your safety that you should not ingest ANY essential oil because it does not dilute in water. Any aromatherapist with your best interest at heart and not dollar sign's in there eyes would🤑 say the same. These essential oils are Grade A. They work great by using the cupping method or diffusion. Do not be misled by people or companies saying they have so and so benefit when you ingest them. MANY essential oils are toxic or can cause internal injury when swallowed. (Yes even lemon) Many drinks infused with flavors use such a miniscule amount to flavor these beverages so a drop of essential oil could never be properly mixed per part.( also consider one drop of oil from one company's bottle of oil varies with another depending on the size of the hole the oil comes out of.) That is one reason why it isn't safe to ingest them because one drop of one bottle can be a double drop in amount compared to the other. Have fun with essential oils as they have great benefits but keep in mind they are powerful so "Happy Smelling" and please smell wisely.

Effective for a low note in blends.
I purchased the Vetiver essential oil by Plant Therapy several days ago at the recommendation of an essential oil blogger. I am trying to make my own perfume with the use of essential oils. The problem that I am having, is that the scent quickly disappears (with my previous creations). And thus I did some further research, which discussed the importance of having a high, medium, and low note essential oil scent in order to ensure that it lasts. The low note is actually the scent that typically will make the perfume last for hours, or at least that is my understanding. There appears to be some confusion on social media in regards to which essential oils are actually 'low notes.' So after further reading, I found a well made article that recommended vetiver essential oil as a low note in floral blends. Which is what I prefer. Pros: this essential oil is extremely well made, and a little goes a long way. It did make a significant improvement to my perfume's lasting power. Thus it was very effective. Cons: I am not in love with this scent. It's very strong, a little musky, and I would not consider it in a floral category. Honestly too much of it, made me nauseated. But, I am very sensitive to strong smells. I can see where many people would enjoy this scent though. The bottle is small compared to many of my other essential oil brands. But as we know, more is not necessarily better quality. More often than not the large bottles seem watered down. This is my first purchase from Plant Therapy and I have read that they are a well respected company. It was a little more expensive than I typically spend on an essential oil. Overall, it was what I was looking for.

Defected Item
I purchased this item and when it arrived there was NOTHING in the bottle. The box was not damp or smelled like it leaked out nor did the bottle. It's as if nothing was ever even put in the bottle to begin with. There is not a refund or return policy so I just am out the money I paid for the item. So disappointed.

Is it essential oil?
It’s not bad, it makes my sleep better.I doubt it is 100% pure essential oil, it leaves oily stains and this oil is very thick. Probably, it’s just OIL, not essential.Next time I will purchase another brand.

Vetiver Essential Oil
This oil smells great - deep, earthy and mysterious. I had ordered a vetiver oil from another supplier two years ago which does not compare. This oil is very much alike Aura Cascia. Aura Cascia is very good as well but I find their oils a bit too pricey.

If you have hyperactive son then this is a must buy
Another pure essential oil from plant therapy. Liked the fragrance..very mild yet differentiable.A boon for hyperactive kid..my 5yr old son is ADHD+speech delay. Now his speech started but not upto full stream. So he can't mingle with other kids and play inside the house only. From last 6months he started beating us and it became routine play for him. I started to shout and beat him then also he is not stopping the routine. Then I started this oil and observed change in his behavior within a week and in one month he stopped beating us completely. Because he got habituated for that he is doing once a week. I wish I would have started this oil before he started beating us.This oil I'm using at night on his feet and I observed everyone in that room having deep sleep. ( Very good for insomnia and stress). His speech also improving faster than before as his eye contact and sitting tolerance increased. Consistency of oil is thick and I used to dilute with olive oil/coconut oil. 10ml bottle lasts longer unless we used for medical purpose. If you are buying essential oils for medical reasons then go for plant therapy brand because they are high quality, affordable and you will observe results very soon.
