Trading Poker Cards by Oliver Velez English

I just received the cards and love them as I am able to review the basic concepts twice daily - morning and evening. I learned a couple of foreign languages with the help of vocabulary flash cards and I know these cards will help me learn the basic concepts of Oliver Velez's trading system. While this may sound like a shameless "plug" for his YouTube channel and other products, you do need to be familiar with his system for these cards to really make sense, so I recommend that you spend some time watching his YouTube videos (and perhaps even buy his products) so they make more sense. These cards are meant for review, not learning, in my opinion. If you think they are expensive, then don't get the cards. I think they are a bargain because I'll be able to make my money back with one profitable trade, and the odds of my having a profitable trade increase each time I review the deck. Most people should not trade, especially those who think that investing in their trading education is "expensive".

These cards are perfect for the trader that follows Oliver’s trading methodology. I’ve seen comments where people thought this was a type of poker game designed to teach candlestick patterns - that is Not the case. The poker reference is in regard to the size of cards, and clever marketing. I have tried to make these cards myself in the past and it is difficult. These cards are high quality and the lessons on the cards are very clear, concise and consistent with Oliver’s trading rules. I like Oliver’s trading videos, and fully buy into his methodology, I wanted to have his rules within reach while trading, especially for entries. These cards absolutely met my expectations as a quick reference tool.

These are so useful and helpful I'm surprised no one else thought of this. I'm using them alongside Oliver's Master Day Trader book. The simplicity of these cards puts market success in reach although it's not easy I feel that studying with these cards will prove to be very beneficial sooner than later Update: I bought this pack for my Uncle Eric and he's been using them daily ever since. Such an underrated learning tool to utilize for trading stocks and cryptocurrency. If there are any revisions go be made in the future I'll surely buy another deck. Thanks Oliver and the IFT team.

The trading poker cards are a great way to solidify Oliver's concepts - adding to the learning process. Visual, tactile, with detail, each card is a gold mine. Put them all together, along with Oliver's training material and these cards become the foundation for a successful trading strategy. His monthly training sessions fill in the gaps and are awesome! Highly recommend.

This is a great idea! I test myself for 30 minutes a day and it has already made a huge difference in my trading! Three winners out of three trades this week so far! Never happened before! This is a fantastic investment in your ability to master this subject and perform like a pro!

I daytrade and I use a lot of Oliver Velez's methodology, especially when it comes to entries. If you are serious about trading his setups (all info free on youtube) then I think these are a great way to drill them into your head. It should go without saying that these won't help you unless you use these long-term as a study tool along with participating in the market every day. They are overpriced, similar to most products in the "learn to trade" marketplace, but considering this is a tool I use to prevent costly errors (if you have experience, you know how important this is), the price has been worth it for me.

I love the texture and how it shows the picture on the front and on with information on the back. Really Great.

I bought 2 decks of these. One for me and one for a friend. I later went on to purchase his Complete Trader course. I can attest, these cards are the very fundamentals that are taught in the course. My friend is able to understand the same concepts as I with only the cards. If you’re interested in Velez’s teachings but feel the courses/ mentorship is expensive, this is a great place to start. If you’re a beginner and are looking for a learning tool, this is the most accurate and appropriate way to learn: About 40 years of skills boiled down into simple and clear cards.
