Delicious tinned fish from a very reputable seller.

Perfect balance
I love this mackerel! I'm trying to eat more tinned fish to help supplement protein, and this was a great choice. The texture is meaty and firm, with a good balance of smokiness - not overpowering, so the flavor of the fish comes through and is complemented rather than drowned out. The fillets are big, meaty chunks that flake easily but have a pleasant bite to them. Definitely a winner.

The tastiest tin can fish I've ever had!
Headline says it all, but here's a bit more detail: - The fish meat itself was incredibly tender and moist. Other tin can mackerel products are often a bit tough and/or dry. - I loved the subtle yet perfect blend of flavors: the roasted garlic and red pepper (combined with the perfect amount of salt and the super tender fish) were a joyful little symphony on my taste buds. - The extra virgin olive oil was awesome -- I actually dipped bread in the extra oil after I finished the fish! This is now my go-to snack after working out: lots of protein, super healthy, great healthy omega-3 oils. Lastly, I appreciate the responsible sourcing from hook+line fishing cooperatives.

Garlic flavor is barely there
Tasty fish, though admittedly not as garlicky as I thought they would be which was a bit of a bummer. Good mackerel, but quite pricey.

This will change your perception of tinned fish.
Delicious. First time trying tinned fish and this was a smash hit. Great texture and flavors. I love the sustainability that Patagonia has for fishing for these.

Stronger Flavor than Expected
This may be a premium grade product, but I wasn't in love with the strong flavor, slightly rubbery texture, and heaviness of the oil. I was attracted by the roasted garlic description, but I couldn't tell that it was roasted or that garlic was added.

Loved this mackerel garlic flavor was subtle the fish had great texture each bite got better than the last very pleasant nice thick pieces as well

What a catch!
I enjoyed this mackerel. It was very flavorful and had a firm consistency. The garlic was mild and not overwhelming. Would definitely buy this again.
