Banks Power 64310 PedalMonster, Standalone

Chevy Silverado with 2.3 turbo. I couldn't be more pleased. Even at a VERY conservative setting (High Torque 8), it truly feels like it has had a tune. Eliminating the infamous (and sometimes downright dangerous!) mushy GM throttle and having a linear response to throttle input (like the "old days" before drive-by-wire throttle bodies!) totally changed the driving experience. I had another brand of pedal "corrector" on an other vehicle some years ago and it was WAY to jumpy ("all or nothing"); I ended up giving it to a friend. Banks? I knew going in that it would be a thoroughly engineered device. And it did not disappoint! Installation and set-up was very easy. Fit perfect. I've done at least 8 startups and all sorts of driving with no codes or any odd behaviors with the truck. Banks is more expensive than other brands. BUT I do not believe the others take the OBD info and use it to make the response SO seamless. I highly recommend!

Tell you what if you looking at custom tune but you don't want to spend 1.500 or more just to get 20 or 30 more horsepower out of your engine. This is the next best thing dont get me wrong it won't give you more horsepower but the part of the customs tune that gives you better throttle response this is for shore that part guys and gals it really works no bs so in a way to me its like having a tune but a lot cheaper pluss its completely safe and 100persent completely removable does not flash your pcm no codes poping up no lump modes it does 100persent what Mr banks states that it will do . And no I don't work for Mr. Banks I am a paying customer.

I just wish I knew about this thing sooner. I’ve owned a Jeep grand Cherokee with the 3.0 L eco-diesel engine for nearly 5 years. I just learned to live with the turbo lag because I thought I had no other option. After a recent trip to the mountains, the turbo lag and delay on the steep hills was so frustrating that I decided to actually selling it or trading it. I love the diesel with the range that it provides, along with the towing capability but I had enough. I didn’t want all of these modifications or have to delete any of the emissions equipment so I did a quick bit of research and came across the Banks pedal monster. This product changed everything. It literally took five minutes to install and another 30 seconds to download the app. Five years of frustration gone. The jeep now performs flawlessly with no lag without any invasive modifications. It’s completely adjustable via the app. Instantaneous power and so far I’ve had zero effect on the overall MPG. If you’re a diesel owner that’s looking for a quick solution that actually works buy this product. I was honestly skeptical, but it works even better than I thought it would.

This thing is amazing. First azon get it to me in about 24 hours which is amazing in itself. Install was a breeze. 3 harness to connect and link to the app on your phone. It seriously woke up my 2022 Duramax's pedal. This in conjunction with the WC Fab turbo horn and a s&b intake all but eliminated the lag from dead stop to peeling out. It's is fun to mess around with bit that's not the only reason I bought it. I feel so much safer pulling out on to a busy high speed road. Free weeks ago I went to pull out and some idiot came around the turn going way over the limit and narrowly missed my rear end while I was waiting for my truck to get up to speed.

I read all the positive reviews on this model and thought it would be a great addition considering I'm moving 7700 lbs of 2011 Expedition. It installed fine and my iPod 12 connected immediately after downloading the app and following all instructions. I tried the various settings and to tell the truth I didn't notice any improvement in throttle response. I went as high as City mode 5 and still no noticeable improvement. One thing that really bugged me was I had to manually connect each time I got into the car. What a pain. I like to keep my phone in my pocket so I don't have to remember to grab it when I get out. Not an issue to return it though. Tonight, I got into the car and noticed the auto A/C wasn't kicking on. Then when I tried to connect to the Pedal Commander it was giving me an error that it wasn't connected to the obd2 port ad that the backup safety wasn't available. I checked to make sure I hadn't accidently knocked it loose but it was firmly inserted. After several attempts to reconnect I noticed it wasn't even connecting to my phone by Bluetooth. In fact it didn't even see it. My A/C still isn't working at this point so I disconnected the PC from the system. My A/C still isn't working, so now I have to find out if the pedal commander somehow screwed up my ECU. The PC is going back tomorrow. Luckily it failed within the return window. One other thing. This was purchased as used but works as new. Maybe it was faulty to begin with but I'm not taking any more chances. I personally would not recommend this product.

I installed this on my 2017 Ford F-250 to help with the lagging of the throttle from the factory. Installation is very easy to the OBI port, I installed a splitter for that as well, so I will still have an open port to use if I have to. There are many options to set it up to the way you drive. I have played with the settings, and usually use the City setup, and toggle between those settings. By switching around the settings, you can feel the difference between settings. The only one I haven’t tried is Race. I like the Banks over the others in that it locks out, and goes back to stock in reverse. Overall, I’m very happy with this am would definitely would recommend this to anyone wanting to get rid of their lagging stock pedal.

I added this to my 2018 F250 Diesel, CC, Lariat. I researched tuners and was not comfortable with the possibility of warranty issues or damage that may occur. After recommendations from reliable sources, I went with Banks Pedal Monster, this thing wakes up the truck and removes the lag. The multiple settings are great for response, I played with the different setting and found my setting is Track and 5. Surprisingly increases my mpg by 1mpg, not sure why, but only thing I can think changed, less pedel and time to get up to highway speeds and cruising. When you need to pass a car, get up to speed, this thing does not disappoint. Install was simple, I ordered the OBM Y splitter due to having amp auto steps hooked up and both work with no issue.

Nice but expensive!

I'm very happy with how the system has affected the dynamics of the vehicle. Easy installation. But it helps take the huge delay out of on gas transitions, doesn't affect gas mileage much unless you're pushing the throttle more.

Very good and way more reliable than the Pedal Commanders (that do go into limp mode)!

Excellent produit

Just like everything else Amazon offers, half of the stuff was missing from the box. I’m now stuck with a $400 unit that is a paperweight. No OBD2 cable or jumper wire in the box.
