Just what I needed. Fits the recessed can, dims without flickering at all, and it is very bright at it's maximum adjustment so it is able to fill the living room with more light than the old bulb. Four light bulbs For under $10 is a good value for me considering I only need 1. Overall, it has been working great for a few weeks now. It hasn't flickered and I rarely need to turn the brightness all the way up. Would definitely recommend and buy again if the need ever arises but I am hoping that 4 bulbs will be enough for a long time to come.

I bought these a few weeks ago as I needed to change two light bulbs set in a high kitchen ceiling. I received a tool (from Amazon) today to help easily replace them. The two packs of four I bought were well packaged and none were damaged upon delivery. I replaced the lights in the kitchen ceiling and these now provide a significant improvement in light throughout the kitchen. I bought the warm white, which is the same as those in the other light cans, which is not harsh at all, and provides good color rendition when preparing food. These are not LEDs but the life expectancy is still around seven years, so they will last a good while. I also discovered that they appear to be unbreakable, which was a boon, as I dropped two in the process of changing the bulbs out. One hit the granite countertop and then the hard floor, whereas the second fell directly into the hard floor (I had learned my lesson and placed a soft blanket on the floor - I recommend that for any high ceiling! Overall, a good price and good value. Love Sylvania!

Nice replacement to my old ones that contained cfl bulbs inside. After 10yrs of daily use in the kitchen they're finally starting to go out. I wanted the exact color replacement and lumens. My original were 2700k and 700 lumens. With led I was having trouble finding 700 lumens. I settled on the 650 lumens, and these actually seem brighter than the 700 lumens for the cfl ones.. I saw other led ones rated at 800 or so lumens, so I'm glad I stuck with the 650. They're pretty much an exact replacement, just a little brighter, but not by much, it's really not even noticeable (as I still have two original cfl ones working to compare to and will leave until they go out). I do notice these hurt my eyes a little more when looking at directly than the cfl style ones, but unless you have a reason to look directly at them, it will never be a problem. With 10yrs of life on the cfl bulbs, these being led should hold me over for a long time, and for a good price!

Even though they advertise a 7 year or more life span, I have one that failed within a couple years. The limited warranty is for 1 year only. Deducted star. But it's a good price point for a dimmable led light.

I’m pretty picky about lighting color in my house — I want every bulb to match so I don’t end up with that one odd-looking light. These Sylvania BR30 LEDs are the exact soft-white tone (2700K) I already use, so they blend in perfectly with the rest of my lighting. Sylvania has become my go-to brand over the years. I actually write down the date when I install bulbs, and I normally get 5–10 years out of them. They’re not the cheapest bulbs on the shelf, but in my experience they’re the most reliable — and I’d rather buy something once and not think about it again.

Great price. Screw them in. Flip the switch. They illuminate. Wonders of modern science.

Right type of bulb

Holding up well for inside and outside (non-wet fixture) use. I have to change the outdoor bulbs one every couple of years, less for the indoor bulbs. Warm white color temperature for everyday indoor use.
