"Waterproof" is inaccurate, try "rain-resistant"
I got to test this today in moderate rain walking a mile and a half to work. I wore a T-shirt with this over it, and a light backpack on my back. By the time I got to work, my T-shirt was soaked in the places the backpack straps pressed against the raincoat. Also, I don't have huge arms, but this thing is tight in the elbows when I bend my arms. Lastly, the hood is a little too small to be pulled over and shield your eyes from the falling drops. All in all, cannot recommend for what I think are reasonable practical situations.

I may as well have taken my money to the toilet and flushed it
I will admit that this "jacket" looks very nice on a hanger. That, at least, is fortunate, because it is completely useless as a jacket. I have tee shirts that are heavier than this "jacket". While the description admittedly does say that it's "lightweight", I never imagined anyone would ever manufacture anything they'd call a jacket that is THIS lightweight.Still yet, it might have been a decent decorative clothing item if it were priced at around $12 or $14, but for what I paid for it, I expected something that would provide at least a LITTLE warmth.

Nice basic rain jacket, good for travel
All I wanted was a nice plain black rain jacket for summer travel, but it was amazingly difficult to find. Most have a huge logo on the chest or white mesh inside or weird flaps on the back or are too heavy. Really happy to have finally found this one. It is a lightweight thin summer rain jacket. Rolls up nice and small, I usually roll it towards a pocket and stuff it all inside the pocket. Barley weighs anything so it is great for throwing in a suitcase or carry on. It is a little sung in the forearms but I'm ok with that. I got it for summer and will typically be wearing a short sleeve shirt under this. It seems to do a good job with the showers I've been caught in, but I haven't been hit with a huge downpour yet.

Be aware that this does have a hood as some of the photos make it look like there is no hood
I am 6' tall and 210 lbs and the XL is very tight on my with just a thin long sleeve shirt. I am a size 38 waist. Be aware that this does have a hood as some of the photos make it look like there is no hood.

1 year update: WATCH THIS VIDEO FIRST
The media could not be loaded. RAIN: This jacket is FALSLY labeled as being water resistant. Even a light spill as shown in the video will soak this jacket through. I also tested it while taking my dog for a 10 min walk in LIGHT drizzle and got soaked. These positive comments have me worried. huge red flags unless i was shipped a fake one.WIND: As a basic wind breaker for an easy day hike with no rain in the forecast this will do alright but do NOT take it cycling i learned the hard way. The elastic wrists and adjustable shock cord at the waist is nice for tuning in with the elements. great feature for a good priceWARMTH: It's okay definitely not for winter. For chilly weather (60f/15c) if you have a shirt underneath. Anything colder you should layer up with more clothes.QUALITY: It's okay i dont expect much from something so thin. It will tear up if you abuse it so only good for casual wear.WEIGHT: 220g/7.76oz not bad but there are lighter jackets out there and that actually work as described.STYLE: Amazing color options and looks pretty dope in my opinion. I really wanted to love this jacket but i rather have a multifunctional jacket that works and frees up my closet space. This jacket failed to meet my requirements as a hiker/biker. I would not recommend this jacket to anyone who likes being in the outdoors. Look else where. 0/10 for false claims. 8/10 for style and fit. i wonder if i was shipped a fake one somehow.

Yes, it fits as expected but is way overpriced at $33.99!
I can't believe it paid $33.99 for this basic lightweight jacket which should be selling for less than half that price. Yes, it fits as expected but compared to others on this site its way overpriced. I've also ordered two of the Gioberti Men's Waterproof Rain Jackets on this site for $24.99 each and I would recommend it if you want a heavier, hooded jacket with a non-removable lining that's a much better buy. Since I do like the look of the Global jacket, despite its price, I decided to keep it. Whether or not either its actually waterproof, I can not say because I haven't worn either in inclement weather yet.

Perfect for an Alaskan cruise
I bought this for my husband for our Alaska cruise. He normally wears a 3X, which is the size I bought, and it fit as expected. It was terrific for the cruise because it rained all day in Juneau. The jacket was lightweight but kept him dry. It was exactly what I needed for him.

On the small size and thin
If your an XL order 2XL... fits small ....guess China doesn't understand American sizes...Also it is very thin as a jacket.... more like umbrella thin...

Waste of money
What a waste of money, so thin, looks like a trash bag and not going to serve as a winter jacket at all. You can compare this to a $10 rain coat, this product is so bad. Amazon should stop selling this.I am soo disapointed, I wasted my money.Sm
