Bee Raw Buckwheat Honey. Excellent honey! Dark, rich, not overly sweet. It's perfect for baking with when you just want rich flavor, or spread on fresh baked bread.Plus I love the fact that it's locally produced.

I ordered this honey along with many others and have to say it is unique. No other honey comes close to this strangely dark goo. My first thought when I opened the jar that contained this semi-solid honey was that I had been duped and was sent something rotten. It honestly smelled like something you would not willingly eat. But I went ahead and tried it anyway. It tasted like dirt at first and was not sweet at all. After a second or so the flavor changed to a heavy sweet like dark honeys usually taste like.I now realize that when the product description mentions "an earthy peat moss flavor with a bright finish", all it means is that it will taste like dirt with a slight bitterness and then turn sweeter. Unless you like odd flavors or are going to mix this with other products to create a complex flavor, I wouldn't recommend this honey to just drizzle or to eat alone.

This product of Raw Honey is old and has crystalized into a paste with some harden crystals. Plus with the paste form is thick brownish looking substance. It doesn't even look edible. There is No Refund for this Product. It's a waste of money!

real honey like this would smell weird to people because their nose is use to artificial/synthetic perfume in everything-clothes soap-dish soap-bath freshener-that's how real buckwheat honey should smell and taste.so i like it-i am taking one star out for this being expensive.

Love Buckwheat honey in my tea

I didn't buy my jar from amazon, and this is honestly the first review I have left for a product.This honey does have a strong earthy taste that isn't for everybody. I find most honey to be a little too sweet for me and this works very well in the type of very dark tea that I drink. I have also had it in coffee which I enjoy and I eat it right off a spoon. If you have the opportunity to try buckwheat honey at a farmers market you can get a better idea of what it will taste like before you buy a whole jar. It doesn't smell, taste or look like other honeys but that doesn't mean it isn't great.I have tried other buckwheat honeys that were pretty good but this is by far my favorite. I just with it came in a bigger jar!
